Log In The Bog

I slept like a LOG!!

Karen’s condo is so cool + cozy! And Matt and I are in twin beds, so we’ve been sleeping better not rolling over on each other

 this !

Pannnnnnnnnnncakes!!!!!!

IMG_7056 (640x427)

Matt got to work on a tri-batch of Kodiak Cakes this AM!

IMG_7068 (640x427)

Filled with butterscotch chips and flax!

IMG_7059 (640x427)

Topped mine with banana, a tsp of Biscoff, and a tbsp of Nuttzo PF.

IMG_7057 (640x427)

Mmmmmm mm.

IMG_7067 (640x427)

Coffee on the side. I missed Karen’s coffee too!

IMG_7060 (640x427)

There was an extra dark chocolate filled cake for the table to share. My fork happily dove into 2-3 bites 🙂

IMG_7065 (640x427)

Today = catching up, a workout, playing with Caitlin, grocery shopping, making a video for Good Bite, online house hunting.

Eat Chocolate. Attend the Healthy Living Summit.

Those looks tasty. I wish I would have slept like a log. I’m over here on the west coast and it’s early…too early to be up on a Sunday.

Those pancakes look awesome! My boyfriend read a study a couple months ago that said that women sleep better when sleeping next to their partner, but it’s just the opposite for men. They don’t sleep as well. Not sure how true it is but interesting nonetheless.

I secretly really like it when my husband and I sleep in twin beds– he’s really fidgety, so I sleep SO much better on my own! 🙂

    Welcome back!

Rosey- the results of the study you’re referring to were actually the reverse: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21091112/

I’m the same way about the sleep, though!

Have fun on-line house hunting. It’s fun to see what’s out there…even if you’re not in the market for one. Vacation house would be nice though:)
    Pancakes looked delicious!

Your pancakes look amazing! Apparently women sleep worse when they have someone in their bed, but men sleep better.

I admit I always sleep better alone, even in small twin size beds.

I agree, I always have a more sound sleep when sleeping alone, but I always feel guilty admitting it… Sometimes a girl just needs to spread out! 🙂

Butterscotch chips (butterscotch anything, really) reminds me of happy trips to the Tasty Freeze as a kid – I always went for the butterscotch sundaes!
I definitely appreciate a good host or hostess. We’re currently couchsurfing (through couchsurfing.com) and camping our way across New England, and I truly appreciate the little touches and energy folks have been putting into making us feel at home!

Definitely off topic…but I recently had a bite…and I stress “bite”…of a Great Harvest Savannah Bar. Oh my! It was very tasty. I haven’t heard you talk about them. Does the Great Harvest where Matt works make these? Will your new Great Harvest location in Charlottesville make them? They constantly sell out in my location.

Do you watch HIMYM? There was a hilarious episode this season about twin beds…actually, the title of the episode was called “Twin Beds”. Super funny – check it out if you have time:-)

I work with a bunch of RDs in Chi-town and we’d love to get together with you when you are here for the HLS. Our office is fairly close to the HLS hotel, so we could do B, L, D or drinks…whatever your sched. will allow!
