As always, your food looks phenomenal, and I can’t get over how much older Mazen looks! Earlier this week, a young nurse told me she’s 4 weeks pregnant and having a great deal of morning sickness. I immediately wrote down BERF for her to review and explained how thoroughly you documented your first pregnancy. I couldn’t believe it was over three years ago! I remember eagerly waiting for a KERF and BERF post then. 🙂

Mazen is just the cutest! He looks so excited to go to school. Did he choose his outfit? My daughter (3) is very choosy about what to wear.

The view from acac is beautiful. How fun for Mazen to get to go to a pool party on his birthday!!

Fried eggs are so pretty! Mazen is a total cutie and his scooter is going to be a big hit once he gets the hang of it.

I love carrots and peanut butter! I used to be a youth group advisor and one of “my kids” like carrots dipped in ketchup. Whatever floats your boat, I suppose!

I learned the deliciousness of carrots & PB from you! It’s still my favorite way to eat nut butter 🙂

I really dislike when ads take over all or part of your pictures. Today, a Hulu ad took over an entire picture and played a short animation with no way of closing out of it. (It closed automatically once it had played).

You take such stunning pictures, it’s too bad the ads detract from them so much. (Ads on the side bar or in the footer, etc., are ok with me. I just hate when they take over your content as well.

I had a few ads appear as footers over your photos today. When I tried to minimize them, so I could see the bottom 1/4th of the photo, an ad popped up and covered the entire page. I had to manually re-load the page. I’ve been more and more discouraged when I visit the blog, Kath. I realize these ads are your bread and butter, what put food on your table, but I’m frustrated that these ads have become more invasive and prevent a seamless experience when I visit your site. I agree with the above comment, side bar ads are great! The auto play videos and ads that block the entire site are the issue.

Pizza looks great! We got my 3yo kiddo a scooter in May and it took a while to get used to it, knee pads boosted his confidence after some scrapes. How do you like his Camelbak? We have a PBK metal one that ended up being a total dud, mouth piece broke before school even started.

We haven’t spent enough time on the scooter to really test it out yet, but thanks for the tip. Love our Camelbak bottle!

Is Open Sky still a thing? Do you do it anymore? I use to get emails from them but must have unsubscribed or something because I haven’t gotten one forever and kinda forgot about it.

Yum – pizza is on the meal plan now.

They changed concepts 1,000 different times and ended up more like a flash sale site. They never really even said goodbye to those of us who supported them in the beginning. Kind of a disappointing ending!

What a proud and adorable back to school boy! My 4 year old just started prek (boy did I cry, but she loves it). We have a water bottle like that too, but it sweats so much it makes a big wet spot in her bag. I think I’m going to shop a bit more and see if there are any good insulated ones out there.

We all have hydro flask water bottles and really love them. They don’t sweat and keep your water cold for up to 24 hrs long
