It Is Dark Before Sunrise

BreakfastBlog

^^ Profound thought of the week

Did you know the sun does not rise until 7:13am? I did not.

So you can imagine my disappointment when my alarm went off at 6:15 to pitch darkness.

I do not run in the dark alone.

So I waited patiently [in my bed!] until there was light in the sky and set out. This means I’m running late, but luckily that is OK.

I jogged a beautiful sunrise 4 miles complete with mountain views, gloves, running tights, a vest and a hat. It ain’t summer anymore.

Breakfast was waiting on my return

IMG_8254Blog

Overnight oats [Coach’s Oats style] soaked in milk, yogurt, chia seeds and banana along with raspberries on top and Barney Butter on the bottom. Delicious!

JarBlog

See that sunshine? It is REAL!!

IMG_8242Blog

Coconut tea on the side.

Wish me luck goin’ north on 95!
