Hot Lunch Spot

tmp_share-8Blog

I went out running errands today – including a pop into Shenandoah Joe’s for a cappuccino!

IMG_9162-2Blog

I’d been out for a few hours and wanted to stop somewhere for lunch and realized that Great Harvest Bread Company has some pretty sweet lunch items!

IMG_9171-2Blog

The menu has just changed and now features the new Oregon Herb bread with dill and rye flour.

IMG_9172-2Blog

MAN was it good! I loved the rye flavor and the crunchy, seedy topping!

IMG_9168Blog

The employees there are so sweet and helped me choose a delicious sandwich for lunch

IMG_9169-3Blog

I ended up with the Monticello Garden, lemony hummus and veggies on Oregon Herb

IMG_9166-2Blog

And a sample of the new Cranberry Flax cookie for dessert – it was doughy and chewy and healthy!

IMG_9167-2Blog

I swear the owner of the place was flirting with me – can’t wait to go back!

Excited to see the place back up and running! Stopped in over the holidays on the road between Richmond and Blacksburg only to find you were ‘out loafing’! Hope you enjoyed the beach, and I hope to get some delicious bread next time I’m on the road 🙂
