Hit The Deck

Deck Dining!

IMG_6677 (640x427)

Big ole salad – spinach, peppers, carrot, cilantro, tomatoes, avocado, olive oil, honey

IMG_6670 (640x427)

IMG_6685 (640x427)

GH bread – two small slices

IMG_6673 (640x427)

Cherries!!!

IMG_6672 (640x427)

And a forgotten Chobani pineapple, which I found at Food Lion! I put it back in the fridge to save for dessert and ended up being full before I got to it. I’ll probably have it for an early afternoon snack to prevent that gap in meals yesterday.

IMG_6669 (640x427)

IMG_6678 (640x427)

In other news, I finished my book!!

And I’m making a video for you 🙂

Have a great afternoon!

Looks like you are having so much fun on vacation!

When are you going to take your RD exam?

Are you taking any prep courses?

Good luck! And congrats on finishing your internship!

I can’t take it until August, at the soonest.

I already took a prep course in March and have a huge binder.

      Studying begins when vacation concludes.

On a similar note (I can’t seem to find this anywhere!) – do you know if Sociology is on the RD exam? It was my first required Dietetics course and I can’t decided whether or not to save my huge binder/stack of notes.

What do you hope to do once you’re an RD? What made you want to become one?

I’ve begun looking into it a little, to see if I wanted to add it as a minor and potentially pursue it more a little later in life (I’m only 19, one year of my bachelors toward Biochem/Biotech completed).

It was always my intention to piecemeal a career together. I had originally wanted to open a private practice, but that big goal has been replaced by our family Great Harvest bakery. I intend to do a lot of freelance writing and projects on the side that I will hopefully be able to connect with my blog. And of course, keep blogging!
