H&G

Matt just woke up from a 12-hour marathon rest! He was training sweets at 3:30am for the second half of the week and fell asleep last night before we could even start LOST! I let him rest and watched about 10 episodes of House Hunters instead.

Engineer in Kansas City

Vacation home in Key West

Dream home in Dallas

Love that show!! My favorite episodes are charming bungalows and historic homes. Wonder why!?

The Home & Garden obsessed continued with breakfast

Despite having a scuffin + some milk before bed.

And despite sipping some juice when I woke up hungry at 3:30am.

I woke up absolutely starving!

IMG_9054-2Blog

I made a bowl of greek yogurt, crumbled Lemon Blackberry Poppyseed muffin (more like 2/3 than the usual 1/4 that I aim for in portion size!), plain oats, chia seeds, half a banana and a huge scoop of Sunbutter. Did the trick!

The yogurt was a Siggi’s Pineapple I brought home from the bakery. (Remember the company sent us some to sample there with customers & staff). Only 9 grams of sugar in that container with plenty of pineapple essence. Perhaps my new favorite yogurt?!

LOVED this cottage featured recently in BH&G magazine!

IMG_9057-2Blog

Dream kitchen! I love light, airy, beachy houses the best.

My goal was to have a wide-open Sunday, but then I remember I have things like BERF posts and grocery shopping to do. Will do those quickly so I can enjoy our HOT DAY!

Sometimes if I eat right before bed I wake up even more starving than if I have nothing…its the weirdest thing!

Have a great Sunday Kath 🙂

Same here! I had a small snack before bed last night and woke up starving this morning! Doesn’t usually happen to me, either.

Deciding on nurser work it so stinking tough because I find my tastes pulled in so many different directions….. I’ll have to get to deciding soon- as I’m approaching 22 weeks this week. Eeek! Time to get this rump into gear!
    Happy Sunday!

The yogurt bowl looks so good! Siggi’s has to be my all-time favorite yogurt. It’s so dense and has a perfect taste!

I keep trying to like Siggi’s, but I don’t. Too runny. I’m loving the new Chobania blood orange. Realize the sugars are higher, but use it as a treat.

Too runny!?! It’s the thickest yogurt I’ve ever had!

Strange, I’ve tried it a number of times and to me it’s runny, even compared to other non-Greek yogurts.

The coconut one was runnier, but the plain and other flavors are all really thick – much thicker than Chobani. Maybe yours are just different in some way!

Someone probably already asked, but what is “training sweets?” Does that mean training someone else to make the sweets baked at the bakery? Is has made me stop reading each day to attempt to ponder the meaning. Just curious, thanks!

Enjoy the nice weather and BH&G magazine…brings back memories of watching my mom read that when I was growing up with a cup of coffee. Fast forward a couple decades, I “get it” now 🙂

That’s one thing I love about siggi’s, they have great flavor but way less sugar than many other yogurts!

If you like hot days you’d love FL! It’s 87 every day from April-May then 97 until October! I’d take a few flurries over all that heat. 🙂

I love airy beachy kitchen too!?
I always wonder though.. even if the kitchen was set up like it is in the magazine, would it stay like that few times after I cook? lol
