Hello Morning

‘Twas a bit of a late night, but at least I didn’t drink too much!

Caitlin and I decided green smoothies sounded just dandy.

The Vita-Mix

  • Big handful kale
  • ~1.5 frozen bananas
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 scoop Vega Vanilla Chai
  • 1 tbsp Scharffen Berger chocolate powder

Toppings: Galaxy Granola Hint O Honey (delish!!) + coconut butter magic shell

After breakfast Caitlin and I went on a 45 minute breezy walk in the neighborhood. It was fab.

I love how you top your smoothies with coconut butter. My green monsters are never sweet enough for me, so that is a great idea of how to sweeten it up

Whenever I make green smoothies they come out purple. I guess I’m not putting in a big enough handful of greens.

Mine come out purple a lot of times too, because I put berries in. It’s hard to make them green when the purple/red color from the berries is so strong. with just bananas, it’ll come out super green!

I don’t know how I missed that giveaway- congrats to the winners!! I have to say, I’m going to miss you and Caitlin’s identical days! I love the “magic shell” coconut butter…I’d bet it would be great on some banana soft serve as well, instead of the chemical laden shell stuff. Hope you have a relaxing Sunday!
