Greensgiving

I finally got around to having that green smoothie I’ve been craving. What an appropriate day to have one too 🙂 The difference this morning was that I bundled up in my robe in advance to prepare for the cold shock.

I made mom try the smoothie too…She was prepared for the worst and say it was actually quite good. She drank the whole (small) glass!

I had a big bubbly bowl (which I shared with Matt because it was a little too much in the end)

Of course we had to balance our greens with a little holiday tea cake. Pumpkin Chocolate chip from Great Harvest!

Haha, my robe has a hood too! That teacake looks awesome—too bad Great Harvest isn’t open today. Enjoy your hike!

I love the idea of starting the day (after Thanksgiving) with a healthy green smoothie! And big props to your mom for being adventurous in her morning eats. I just got my mom to try peanut butter oatmeal for the first time and she loved it. Now, if I could only get her to like vegetables…. 🙂

You look like a Jedi Knight. Altough I don’t think they drank smoothies…but who knows?

Enjoy your post-Thanksgiving hike! I just posted about getting healthy in the small window of the weeks from Thanksgiving to Christmas, so your smoothie and hike are serving as inspiration to me!

Perfect morning after Thanksgiving breakfast! I, unfortunately, did not do such a great job. I had a pumpkin spice scone with lots of icing. But I did work out, so that’s worth something right? 🙂

Didn’t recognize you at first in the robe. I also served your maple brussel sprouts for thanksgiving and they were a hit!
