Good Morning To You

IMG_6899Blog

I had imagined myself getting up in time for 10AM BodyPump today, but what I neglected to remember was that if one stays up until midnight, eight hours of sleep are required and thus, we didn’t wake up until 8:30! 10AM came and passed… oh well!

IMG_6893Blog

Breakfast was worth lounging for ; )

IMG_6891Blog

Karen likes her oatmeal without banana, so we made it with cottage cheese and put our banana on top. It was fun to eat the banana chunks!

IMG_6888Blog

Also on top – Harris Teeter plain peanut butter (love the plain classic!) and Rosie’s Best granola.

IMG_6887Blog

Eat at Karen’s is always fun : )

IMG_6884Blog

With some stroooong Peet’s Coffee!

IMG_6895Blog

Not sure of the plans for my day, but I have GOT to get moving on this article I’m writing – and have a recipe to make ASAP too. We’re coming back over here to cook tonight, but we’ll be sleeping in our own bed again. The patient is experiencing second-day soreness, but she’s eating oatmeal and crocheting next to me on the couch!

Happy new years, Kath! I slept in today, too. I’d rather be awake and focused for the first day of the new year than dragging myself around.

A question for you: do you drink/like Kona coffee? If not, you must try! There is no comparison between 100% Kona coffee and mass-produced/Machine-picked coffee.

do you use whipped banana oats for all your oatmeal combos in the tribute? Do you use it when you make peanut butter and jelly oatmeal?
I’m afraid to use it in that recipe bc i am afraid it will taste more like BANANAS, peanut butter and jelly. haha
