Goldilocks And The Three Bras

This post is sponsored by Victoria’s Secret

Foodblog (11 of 14)

When you think bra store, what do you think of? Victoria’s Secret is the first brand that pops into my head. While Victoria’s Secret is known for lingerie, they actually have an emerging sport category too. Women put a lot of emphasis on the perfect fit of their day-to-day bras, but sports bras often get less thought. Those of us with larger chests need the best fit and support we can find during workouts too! While partnering with them for this post, I learned that Victoria’s Secret uses the same fit technology they use to construct their bras on the sport line. Sizes are listed just like you would shop for a regular bra, and the support, style and shape are all priority. When sports bra shopping you can choose what’s important to you and narrow down your choices:

Bras2

For this post I was given an allowance to purchase several Victoria’s Secret sports bras to road test and share. This was my first time trying out their sport line, and I was honestly really impressed!!!

The three styles I chose from top to bottom above are:

The Incredible

This is the most “bra like” of the bunch with some padding and a nice dip in the middle 🙂 It’s very structured and stays put. The straps are adjustable (the best!) and the back closure makes it extra secure. It’s also really supportive!

The Angel

This one is my favorite of the bunch! I LOVE the back straps, and the front is really supportive too. The cups are hidden and the design is my favorite of the bunch. I’m planning to get a second one in another color! It’s also really easy to get on and off – always a plus!

The Lightweight

Just as described, this one is really lightweight and airy. I love the adjustable criss cross back. The shape of the front is nice too, which just a little light padding where you need it. It’s really breathable too – would be great in the summer! (The front of this one on is at the top of this post!)

I bought all three of these in my regular bra size, and they fit perfectly in both the band and cup.

Next week I have a follow up post to this one with a few more products, and I can’t wait to share the offer that Victoria’s Secret has in store for you guys!! I’ll definitely be taking advantage of it myself!!

They are all so cute! I love the colors and straps of The Angel. 🙂 Also, those athletic leggings look really fun. I’ve started becoming more focused on getting nice exercise attire because a) I know it can impact performance and b) I want to be just as excited about wearing it as I am my nice clothes. Great post, and I look forward to the VS offer!

Do you think you could run or do jumping jacks in them? That’s the real test for me.

Which one do you think would be best for the really high intensity workouts? I do crossfit and need some SERIOUS lockdown. Also, does the quality feel like it will hold up after a bunch of washings?

The Incredible has the most structure to it. They do seem well made.

This is a great breakdown of what they have to offer, love the review! I don’t have a lot going on up top so it’s not usually a problem for me to find sports bras, but it is hard to find one’s cute enough and supportive enough to transition to running to the store in, that’s where the bra like incredible could come in!

it looks like the Angel has a lot of seems in the front. Is it very visible through a shirt or tank top?
Have you worn them while exercising? which one would be better for running?

Not visible though my sport tanks – maybe a light colored tshirt. I have only worn the Incredible to run and it was fine! I think any of them would be good. They are all very supportive.

I ADORE their sports bras – been wearing them for over a year. I’m pretty large in the chest; so I prefer the ones that zip in the front – easier to get on and off too – IMHO. But holy moly, do they hold those girls in place – LOVE THEM; can’t wait for your follow-up post. Thanks Kath!!
