Good afternoon! I am wondering if the folks working at my neighbor’s house can hear me singing from my office?! Loud music and singing all the time over here! Guilty, and proud of it. Now playing – “Get Your Shine On.”
Mazen and I have been sleeping until 7:30 a.m. the past few mornings, and that has made getting up and moving out of the door a bit difficult. Today I set my alarm because I needed to shower before he got up, and it was nice to have a few extra minutes.
For breakfast, I had simple PB&J toast topped with granola and coffee. Mazen had leftover pancakes!
All ready for camp! This is my favorite outfit of his : )
When we arrived he said, “Mommy let me show you around” in his most grown-up voice. So cute! I got a tour of the playground, including the inside info that the playhouse has a secret back door!
I left him with his group setting up a big tent inside. This week’s theme is “The Great Outdoors” and they’ve been playing with pretend bugs in real dirt (glad it’s not real bugs in pretend dirt!) and making fossils.
After camp yesterday we went to the splash park and playground. That boy is worn out at the end of the day!
Lunch today was a salad with leftover grilled veggies, leftover fish, tomatoes, lemon dressing, and sharp cheddar cheese.
I am loving your more recent posting schedule!! It reminds me of the earlier blog days and I feel so much more connected with you : ) It’s great to see how happy and full your life is these days, it’s been rubbing off on me and I’m sure other readers would say the same. Thanks for being an inspiration!
Looks like Mazen is having a blast! How many different camps does he do?
He’s alternating between two
You’re brave for dressing Mazen in a white shirt. I love lighter colours but my 3 year old son would have it stained in 5 minutes!
It’s a cheapie from Old Navy, so if it’s stained it’s ok. But I will bleach if necessary!
i love his little smile!! cutie pie!!!
Kath you seem so good and i love how often you post lately. regular life stuff.
and his little white shirt outfit, OMGosh he is a little college boy. haha sweet!

Such a fun summer for him!
I’m jealous of his outfit!!’ Once my son could dress himself all outfits and matching went out the window!
I agree with everyone else, it’s great how often you’re posting these days. Glad to see you happy!
I’m sure you’ve heard this a lot, but Mazen is going to be a little heart breaker when he gets older haha. He’s such a beautiful child. Don’t you wish you could press pause and just hold on to this age a little longer? My girl is about to turn three and I’m like, “Where did three years go??” It flies by.
