Fulfilling Day

All that morning activity followed by quality meals and quality husband time made today feel so fulfilling. Like a good summer day should. And somehow having a clean yard makes me happy like having a clean house does! Like I am surrounded by organization on all four sides

 this !

Unfortunately tonight is another mystery recipe for the cookbook – and it was GOOD! You can probably guess some of the ingredients, but you can’t see them all!

Followed by the most perfect bowl of All-Natural Mint Chocolate Chip.

I submitted the crepe video in Recipezaar’s Video Contest . I didn’t realize until after that my video is about 8 minutes too long to be considered, but it’s still fun because you can see it online 🙂

Did the publisher give you parameters for recipes/ingredients, or do you just get to play with things as you see fit?

The mystery dish looks delish! And I love mint chocolate chip ice cream, especially if it is all natural 🙂

Aww you should post one of your other recipe videos. They will be dazzled with your southern accent.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am glad Matt’s crackers passed KERF’s tough criteria!

i know what you mean about the satisfying days and the happiness of being surrounded by organization. i’m in the middle of a major cleanup of one room and i’m thrilled with the progress so far. i hate cleaning but i absolutely LOVE being around clean. i feel like i can’t think properly when i’m amidst mess (which was rough in university when i didn’t have time to do much tidying!).

Is there going to be a need for recipe testers for the cookbook? If so, I’m totally game!

    BethT ,
I have lots of “rules” which is definitely the most challenging. I’m used to unlimited ingredients and just throwing things together but with the recipes I am pretty limited (to 10 ingredients, which is the HARDEST part!!) and somewhat by nutritional info.

    HangryPants ,
I wanted to post the oatmeal pancake video but I don’t have them anymore! Once they went on You Tube I deleted them. I don’t really know why…

    Ashley Suzanne,
It doesn’t come out until 2010 – but that’s not too far away since we’re almost to 2009!

    Jill – GlossyVeneer,
Haha. If I ever do my own cookbook you know the blog will be the first place to come for recipe testers!
