From Arctic To Tropics

Hi from Florida!

IMG_9131

Our flight was FREEZING cold, but we each got a little sleep and lucked out with an empty middle seat between us.

I sipped on some OJ during the flight which tided me over to 9am breakfast in Orlando.

SB&J, clem, cappuccino

IMG_9130

Our next flight leaves in an hour and when we arrive I hope it’s hot outside!

Glad that Leg 1 of the trip is done…and that the next leg brings you to paradise!

And I’m with you….why are flights SO COLD? I mean could they turn on the heat just a little…anything short of icicles is appreciated 🙂

If you’re heading further south, I’m sure it will be plenty warm since it’s been so warm all month in FL. I could use a little break from warm weather, but the beach was beautiful (and crowded) yesterday, so I can’t complain too much about sunny FLorida 🙂 Have a great vacay!

You found coffee! Perfect with your SB&J sandwich and clementine. So smart to bring along your own snacks and splurge on the coffee.

Some airports don’t allow food brought in from home, they actually throw it out!
I don’t agree with this because not everyone can eat crap (oh did I actually say “crap”?) that the airports offer!
There’s nothing there for me….. except black coffee.

Part way there is good! Taking your own food is the best idea every. Airport food is way too expensive and not usually good.

I would bet that if you packed that sandwich from home, the jam was “according to Daniel.” 🙂
Having that middle seat empty is the BEST! It rarely happens to me and Greg, but when it does, it makes all the difference!
    Safe travels!!

I’m wondering why you ordered sugar free syrup in your coffee. You are so focused on real, whole foods, so what’s your reasoning for choosing artificial sweetener?

I have it about twice a year – usually at Starbucks. Got one pump of peppermint but it was actually really gross. I just can’t do sweet coffee anymore.
