Four Breakfasts & Cake

Good morning!! Here are some of my breakfasts of late. Best meal of the day!

Peanut butter toast / eggs / raspberries!

Foodblog (2 of 2)

Well gee that looks familiar!! ; ) Different day, different toast topping.

Foodblog (5 of 8)

Post yoga juice and chia pudding from The Juice Laundry. This is my new favorite spot, and this strawberry chia pudding is the BEST!! Gotta figure out how to replicate it…

Foodblog (8 of 8) this !

Pre-workout toast with peanut butter before my Sunday soccer game. Regular coffee for a boost!

Foodblog (7 of 13)

Collin Street Bakery offered to send me another one of their yummy desserts. This year I had the Apple Cinnamon Pecan Cake, which was a enjoyed by a crowd at a bonfire party I went to over the weekend.

Foodblog (9 of 13)

So many crunchy pecans! Will has offered you guys free standard shipping on online orders $50 or more November 9-14 with the code 51YUM6. Good timing with Thanksgiving around the corner!

The tins the cakes come in are great keepsakes too! Ours is now housing some toy cars : )

Foodblog (8 of 13)

How cute is this school picture!? Our first since last year he wanted nothing to do with the photographer. Wish I had ordered more – the grandparents are fighting over the prints!

Foodblog (6 of 8)

Have a great Tuesday!

Yum! Toast is such a satisfying breakfast.

I’ve never really gotten into chia pudding. I’ve tried it a couple times but it was just plain weird. But maybe I’m not doing it right? If you figure out how to replicate this chia pudding, or if you have any tips for making chia pudding, I’d love to hear them!

You gotta love the chia texture to love it. It’s most similar to tapioca. The seeds themselves have a neutral taste so it’s all about the flavors

I also think chia pudding is weird! For me it’s not about the taste, it’s a textural thing. Super gross, but the texture reminds me of snot.

Ohh I’ve never heard of Juice Laundry! I’m guessing it’s just local? I’ll have to look for it next time I’m up in Cville! 🙂

Yes! They were at the Farmer’s Market for a long time but just opened a retail space next to the new Timbercreek Market. It’s the bomb!

So cute!! They have to have some kind of way to get more prints, right? For them that just means more money!

How many eggs do you eat for your breakfast? Also, about how much peanut butter…nut butter, do you put on your toast? I’m trying to figure out how you divide your calories/macros through out the day.

1-2 eggs and maybe 3/4 a tablespoon of PB? Maybe 1/2? I do butter most often! About a tsp of butter.

Mazen’s picture is too cute! Your breakfasts all look so good! I miss being able to have breakfast at home during the week…not in the car or at school. That’s why I live for summer break 🙂
