Food Of My Wildest Dreams

Have you guys seen this Taylor Swift video? I’m just an average fan of hers, but this video has me obsessed. It’s just stunning, and I love the story line!!

Foods of my wildest dreams? I’d like a huge avocado and salmon kale salad with a glass of Chardonnay followed by a giant ice cream sundae with cake batter ice cream, heath bar and lots of sprinkles!

But heres’s some real life food!

I’ve been really into smashed banana and peanut butter toast these past few days! Served with some yogurt on the side –

Foodblog (13 of 35) this !

Lunch was a strange mix – leftover shredded chicken fajitas with melted cheese on top over salad greens. I didn’t want just the chicken or just the salad! The greens wilted a bit, and it was actually quite nice.

Dinner at Sarah’s house! Salmon, asparagus and baked peppers stuffed with cream cheese!

Foodblog (5 of 6)

Night time reading with Sleepytime tea and the new Young House Love book, Lovable Livable Home!! So far I love it. It’s like one big home magazine packed with pretty photos of houses. Lots of great advice!

The next morning I had a breakfast sandwich packed with fried egg, almond butter and strawberry jam. We were out of fruit!

Lunch – the last of the fajitas (I promise!) with leftover spaghetti squash, cheese, greek yogurt and greens. Greek mountain tea on the side.

I made crockpot chili for dinner. Topped with all the cheese! Freshly grated is the best.

Matt made homemade biscuits at the bakery, so we gave those a try too. Delish! (And for scale, that’s a mug and an appetizer plate – but if they were a soup bowl and dinner plate that would be one large biscuit!!)

Check out the podcast I did for Clever Cookstr this week!!

One Direction dropped a new song this week – Infinity. What do you think!?

Yes to crock pot chili time! I have never made homemade biscuits, but I’ve been inspired to try.

I am always into smashed banana and peanut butter on toast! It’s such a great combo. Even though I kind of feel like a kid when I eat it. But it’s just so good 🙂

Did you shred cheese in your food processor? If so, I never thought of doing that!!
