Flying By Blogging

Hi! This day has been rush, rush, rush!! But still filled with fun things!!

After putting my house back together from the weekend, I met Victoria at the Y on te stairmasters for a 15 min warmup for athletic conditioning.

The class was awesome! Lots of circuits, plyometrics, jumping. My legs are shot! We actually had to leave after only 45 mins or we’d be late to class after showers, lunch and commute.

I showered at her house and got to use all kinds of fun spa products in her shower, including some delicious perfume called Salvatorre Ferragamo (sp?).

We carpooled to Rock Hill and hit up EarthFare for lunch. I got the usual huge salad with all the goods!

Salmon
Tofu
Blue cheese
Grapeleaves
Wheatberry salad
Soy nugget
Kidney beans
Corn
Granola
Olives
Veggies

Twas awesome and totally filling! I’m stuffed.

Free H2O to drink!

See yall for dinner!

One of these days I will get a Whole Foods salad bar lunch, because I haven’t done that in FOREVER and your salads look so good! I wanted to say though that in your Gather post, I totally agree. I do think that for most of us, calorie counting is not the best habit because it makes us hyper-focused on food, but for some people that can handle it and not go crazy, it’s a good measurement tool. It’s the same with the scale…I’m “not allowed” to weigh myself because of what it does to me mentally, but my boyfriend weighs himself every day (and before + after his runs) because to him, it’s interesting…and not an indication of if he’s doing “good” or “bad” that day.

Ferragamo is a legendary Italian designer! He’s known for his leather products and scarves… didn’t know they made a fragrance too, but I imagine it’s very elegant!

    Hey Kath-

Just had to let you know that the perfume you used is by the DESIGNER Salvatore Ferragamo (he does mostly shoes and bags). He’s absolutely amazing! Didn’t know they tackled perfume too though!

Great looking lunch too…and I needdd to add a class like that into my workout!

I use Ferragamo perfume, he has 3 I believe. I use the fragrance “Incanto Shine” It is dreamy and I’ve never found anything like it. It’s so light and fresh. Here is a link if you are interested. It’s quite cheap especially if you order a “tester” which just doesn’t include a cap which you don’t really need 🙂
