Walk backwards on the treadmill. Helps relieve and heal hamstring. Feel better soon. Keep moving…but keep it easy on the leg. If that is what it is, it will take a couple of months.

Hi Kath! I have a quick question about how you care for your Camelbak. Your reservoir looks just like mine and I haven’t figured out if I’m supposed to remove the tube from the reservoir to clean it or not. Do you remove the tube or just leave it in place and hang it upside-down to dry? Any advice would be great!

      April 19, 2010 at 4:12 pm

I just flush it out really well. Put a ton of water in and just let the tube run open until it’s empty. Twice if I used something sticky.

    Hey Kath,
Looks like a beautiful day down there. I’m in town for business one night next week and hoping you can suggest a great restaurant for dinner. Not sure if you have a list of your favorites anywhere or if there is an easy way to gather that list!

We’re coming from Birkdale Village in Huntersville and staying at the Omni on E Trade street in Charlotte. Any help would be great!
    Thanks,
    Nadine

There’s a new place uptown called Dandelion Cafe that is supposed to be really cool. Small plates or local foods.

I also love Sonoma Modern Kitchen and Zink for a swanky dinner uptown.

If you want to venture a little further south, Brixx Pizza and Big Daddy’s in Dilworth are both casual and really good.

And my new favorite restaurant in Charlotte is Good Food On Montford, which is about 10 minutes south of uptown. Small plates and REALLY good flavors.

      Welcome!
