Everything Is Better As Pie

No need for snacking today – I was stuffed from my late lunch all afternoon! And dying of thirst for some reason too. I managed to get a lot done, although none of it was Metabolism studying 🙁 So much blog admin work – emails, comments, and more!

Luckily while I worked on a Real Food Consultation, Matt made me dinner

 this !

Another pie!!

IMG_3237 (640x427)

But this time it was a pizza pie!

IMG_3218 (640x427)

He wanted to try out his whole wheat pizza crust in a thick Sicilian way so instead of flattening it out he put it in a baking dish like a cake.

Topped with an Applegate Farm’s Organic Sweet Italian Sausage, bell peppers, Ragu and Trader Joe’s Mexican Lite cheese.

I enjoyed a quarter of the pie.

IMG_3235 (640x427)

On the side we had a romaine salad with carrot + pepper + almonds

IMG_3222 (640x427)

with some Annie’s Woodstock

Thanks dear husband for another great dinner!

Google Sync

Not sure how I didn’t know this already, but Google Sync enables you to sync your iPhone or other smart phone with Gmail (new), G-Calendar, and Contacts. I was using a third party – Nuevasync  – to do this but I feel better letting Google handle the task. I can now sync all 10+ of my Google Calendars instead of the 5 I was limited to with Nuevasync. I am happy!

SFO Readers

I am literally flying in and out of Cali in 48 hours, but a few people mentioned a meet-up. My only free time is Sunday morning before I have to head to the airport via taxicab around 10:30. If you’re free and would like to join me for either 1) A run around 7:30 2) Brunch around 9:00 or 3) BOTH, please email me at KathEats at Gmail.com.

***

I have one more short thing to do and then I might go get in bed with my MET notes!

ZZZZzzzz

just wondering–do you have an easier way to download your pictures from your camera onto your computer? I feel that I’d blog so much more often if it didn’t take like 10 minutes every time I load pictures to my computah! : (

I totally want to try the pizza pie with the TJ’s whole wheat crust…it’s a bit flabby so maybe pie-form is the way to go. Awesome idea!

What does Annie’s woodstock taste like? I’ve only had annie’s goddess. It was great but the price tag is sometimes a lot. I know that I want to have a few others to try the next time it’s on sale.

    Ali,
That’s probably a result of your computer being slow, but I use Windows Photo Gallery (download from windowslive.com for free) and it’s a great photo importing and organizing tool.

    Cynthia,
It’s cheesy like nutritional yeast, if you’ve ever had that.

    bailey,
    Thank you and welcome!

    Laura,
In G-cal each calendar is a different category of life – personal, school, workouts, meals, each of my classes.
