Donuts

They may not look like donuts. And they may not be made of sugar and white flour. But they sure taste like donuts!

IMG_3806Blog

These English muffins [which I purchased at Integral Yoga here in town] are absolutely divine!!

IMG_3818Blog

Doughy, chewy, yeasty, hearty.

IMG_3815Blog

You know it takes a lot for me to choose an alternative to oat-based breakfasts. These whole wheat cinnamon raisin muffins from The Bread Basket are that good.

IMG_3819Blog

Slathered with pumpkin spice almond butter, pumpkin butter and banana. With a side of pear.

    Kath,

First off, I’ve been following your blog for the past several months and I love it! You have inspired me to make oatmeal with melted chunks of banana a staple breakfast. Thank you =)
Those english muffins look AMAZING and like you it would take a lot for me to switch from my oatmeal. Next time, I’m in Charlottesville, I’ll have to check out The Bread Basket.
