Dog Days

The Dog Days of Summer are upon us. What day of the week is it?!

We slept late this morning and filled our bowls with oatmeal.

Bananaless oatmeal ๐Ÿ™ Everytime I make oats without a banana, I am shocked by the texture difference. Even with tons of chia seeds!

The oat mix for one included:

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 a plum, stirred in near end
  • Peanut butter pretzel crumbles ( <– have been dreaming about this for 2 weeks now)
  • Coconut butter blob
  • Bella Eats jam blob
  • Sunflower butter blob

I feel the same way about my oatmeal – just not the same without banana. You’ve gotta stock up ๐Ÿ˜€ Hopefully the peanut butter pretzels made up for it? ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Enjoy your Sunday, Kath!

Strange question, I just used my brand new camel pack for this first & it didn’t come with cleaning instructions…how do you go about cleaning yours?

I just flush it well with water after use. If it’s really dirty I would use dishsoap in the same fashion.

That’s funny that you say about it not having a banana. I have never even tried a banana in my oats and I eat it almost everyday. Does it make it creamier or what?

I always go through banana-withdrawal if I don’t have at least one banana a day. But, it makes the next banana I eat even more satisfying!
