Decisions, Decisions

I ended up staying up last night and knocking out another assignment! Def. took the pressure off of this morning.

I also mentally prepared myself for an early morning run….and woke up to rain!

this !
I’m not one to run in rain if I don’t have to, so the plan immediately changed to a gym session first thing.

And then I got out of bed – ouch! I’m sore in strange places from yesterday’s Power Hour class so yoga immediately moved to the priority spot. How good would yoga feel right now. Mmmm.

The next decision was how and when. My living room, now, later, Yoga One, the Y? I checked my Y group exercise schedule and there’s a class at 9:30. I’d go up to Yoga One for some hot yoga, but that adds an hour of driving. If I go to my Y for cold yoga, I can bike there because the clouds are clearing!

Decision conquered [with the help of some friends on Twitter!]

Next stop: SIAB. I was craving a smoothie and tea. And you know I can’t stop thinking about the smoothie-in-a-cup I had at Jamba!! I can’t wait until we fly to Montana next weekend so I can get another one for breakfast 🙂

Today’s blend:

  • 1/3 cup frozen banana chunks
  • 1/3 cup frozen mango from TJ’s
  • 1 container pom Chobani (past expiration! But just barely)
  • 1/3 cup vanilla soy milk
  • Splash Blueberry POM
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Handful spinach
  • Toppings: Mix My Granola + Maranatha AB

Said like Kevin from the Office: It was awesome

IMG_4617 (640x427)

I had Yerba Mate Dark Roast for my beverage. Wasn’t feelin’ coffee. Hope the caffeine in this guy wards off a headache!

IMG_4611 (640x427)

IMG_4612 (640x427)

IMG_4605 (640x427)

I’ve got 25 minutes until I’m leaving for the Y – and the blue sky is peeking out from the clouds!

Have a great day!

Enjoy yoga! Sometimes the only cure for the yoga sore is MORE yoga! (That just reminded me of the SNL cowbell skit. More cowbell! Haha)

The greatest thing about yogurt (ok, there are actually many great things about yogurt) is that it is already a cultured/fermented milk product–so expiration dates become less important! Several years ago I worked at a health food store and didn’t buy yogurt for a year, b/c we always got to take home the recently expired stuff.

Were you aware the FTC announced new rules on Monday that apply to bloggers who endorse a company’s products or services in exchange for cash or gifts. Worth investigating since you accept so many free samples.

I never tried yoga, I’m so curious. Some people love it, other people say it’s boring… I’ll have to try and decide for myself.

I hate when I plan an outdoor exercise and it rains. I’ve run in the rain a few times but it wasn’t fun. So now I only run in the rain for races.

Yoga is so big for me now. I am going to get in some at lunch to help with my ITBS.
