Crumbs

Other than a 1am feeding (for myself!) of a few bites of a chocolate chip cookie (you have to get creative when there isn’t juice to swig!), I slept until 6:45 this morning! FINALLY feeling refreshed!

After lounging and showering and Google planning, I ventured out to find the nearest coffee cafe that served oatmeal. I ended up at Fonte where I enjoyed a serene breakfast over a book.

I debated between fruit and yogurt and oatmeal. Oatmeal won! Topped with some peanut butter by request : )

A luscious latte on the side –

I don’t fly out until tomorrow, since I was initially going to stay with Emily this weekend and added an extra day to spend. But we had to alter our plans, so I’m off to explore Seattle today. If you are still in town (or live here!) and want to meet for lunch, let me know via email!

I’m planning to do a little shopping and hopefully see a few sights – the forecast looks pretty good!

Such a fun way to present the oatmeal! And the berry mix just looks great – love fresh berries on oatmeal, somehow makes it easier to eat a hot breakfast in the summertime when berries are involved…

That oatmeal looks awesome! I eat it every morning. I saw sunflower seed butter on your website and when I saw it at the store I had to get it. SO glad that I did. A tsp of it in my oatmeal is SO good.

Not sure if you’ll get another chance to eat breakfast/brunch foods but if you can, you NEED to eat here!!! It is my absolute favorite place in Seattle and has an endless “toppings” bar of TONS of fresh fruit (and more!): http://www.portagebaycafe.com/2012/home.html
