Crazy Bag Lady

One really great reason to get up at 5:30 in the morning: A full body massage at Charlotte’s best yoga studio!

In preparation for our long run this weekend, Emily and I met for the 6:30 hot vinyasa class at Y2Yoga with Tanner!! Class was great. Love any yoga class that includes both DJ Earworm and Falling Slowly!! I left feeling like all of my kinks were worked out.

We made our way back to my house for huuuuuge bowls of oats!!!

Pumpkin Chia Banana Coconut!

Pac Man loves bubbles. Especially when they are caramel flavored by Spring Blend!

IMG_8899 (640x427)

Sportin’ my springtime bowl – it’s from Homegoods (’cause I know you’ll ask 😉 )

I’n going on a FIELD TRIP today!! Up to the nutrition research campus in Kannapolis. So I had a bit more time this morning before I left. Wheee!

Crazy Bag Lady

The Open Sky team is constantly working with vendors to try to get deals for shopkeepers and their readers. I’m excited about this one because this is the perfect example of a product that I wouldn’t have ever known about if it hadn’t been brought to my inbox by the Open Sky sourcing team:

Envitote (2)

I am often in ‘crazy bag lady’ mode: gym bag, DSLR camera bag, purse, lunch box, work bag and this tote box is such a lifesaver! It keeps my water bottle upright, my camera from being smooshed, and note that loaf of bread not shifting to the bottle of a bag 😉 The strap is the best part though – half box, half bag. [And it’s machine washable!]

Envitote has offered to give away 52 of their Envisack produce bags (a $300 value) with the purchase of the canvas tote box this weekend. They look like this:

envisack 3

Great for being GREEN at the grocery store! I’ve got a couple of canvas bags that I use and have been meaning to stock up on a few more.

So the Envitote is $20 – plus the two free bags. There are 26 of them available (heh heh – I did pick the number!)

Good times!

[Excited that we had internet this AM! Hope it holds up!]

I’m very jealous that your gym opens so early – my nearest one doesn’t open til about 8am, let alone hold classes before then!
I’m equally jealous of your oats, they look like a work of art 🙂
    Have a good field trip!

glad to see your internet is up and running! YAY to an early start! I wish I could say I did the same this morning, but my body needed rest in a bad way — hoping I get in a workout after work (although it’s always harder on Fridays!)

    have a great afternoon!!

The most annoying thing about living in NYC? Not having a car to stash stuff!! I always feel like a crazy bag lady. Today I had 3 bags – purse, gym bag, and lunch bag. I’m often away from my apt for 13-14 hours at a time. I think I need to buy an envitote 🙂

I’m tempted to order that bag, but I still haven’t received half of my naturally nutty order so it makes me nervous that it won’t make it here….am I the only one who had trouble with the naturally nutty? I ordered two different two packs (cinnamon vanilla and dark cherry chocolate), and only recieved the cinnamon vanilla last week (long time!), and haven’t gotten the other set….maybe it’s my evil UPS man….I’m convinced he stole my ATT modem anyway, lol…

I’m super excited to report that I made my first “Kath” oatmeal last night. I’m calling it that because I added cottage cheese and peanut butter… two things I’ve never done before. It was delicious!!! Thanks so much for the great idea… I think it’ll become a staple dish. Hope you have fun on your field trip today!

I bought the EnviTote. I was sold by the time you said it was half box, half bag. Where has this been all of my life. I usually carry a bunch of stuff with me everywhere I go in a canvas box with no handles. It is better than using plastic bags, but this item is the answer to my needs. Amazing.
