Oh boy, we just got hit with a nice little ice storm. Thankfully it was a quick one and melted the following day. But sickness combined with winter weather means Mazen hasn’t had school in two weeks. He loves school, so this isn’t a good thing! Cabin fever for sure. Rather than climbing the walls, he’s just climbing me!
We made snow day pancakes for breakfast. Great Harvest mix!
Plus bananas and cinnamon vanilla sunflower butter (Naturally Nutty brand)!
We met a bunch of our friends at Sweethaus this week for a party to celebrate Elinor’s 4th. Can’t believe we used to get together at Sweethaus before the first generation could even crawl and now round two are starting to walk! This was the best we could do for a group photo!
Lunch this week was leftover Blue Apron forbidden rice salad with salmon on top. Minted yogurt on top! (Recipe coming!)
And a Blue Apron chicken dinner that hit all the comfort food requirements. The lemon zest in the pan sauce was a hit!
Lastly, our yard is currently in that “will this ever look nice again?” stage. Check out the mud! They are re-grading it to bring it up to the patio. Hoping when it’s all finished we can host all of those above kiddos for a big yard party.
NEW SURVIVOR TONIGHT! If you have never watched, now is a good time to start!! : )
