Brain Workout

Are you kidding me!?! Snow!? We just had 75*!!!

AM Snow Showers

I actually don’t want to see snow tomorrow because I don’t want my test to get postponed. I want this this OVER! Victoria and I got in 4 quality hours of hard-core uninterrupted studying at Panera. I feel MUCH more prepared for this test than I did at 3pm.

I was feeling very sluggish around 4 and needed a pick-me-up (Victoria asked me right away if everything was OK because I was so non-cheerful), but I forgot my wallet at home! Thanks to Victoria for buying me a coffee 🙂 We also split these two bars for a snack – we each got half of each.

I came home to find the husband sipping leftover wine. I decided to have about 2 oz to contrast the intense studying.

Along with this fantastic leftovers salad.

It was a mixture of packed greens, strawberries, feta, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, carrots, ~1/2+ cup black beans, TJ hummus and a drizzle of EVOO and vinegar.

IMG_1810 (800x600)

TJ’s Naan on the side. LOVE this dough!!!

After dinner I found myself sticking my fork in the leftover fruit tart 🙁 It was compulsive so there’s no photo. It’s all gone now.

Then I studied for another hour. I think I’m ready. I’ve just got my smarts to rely on now – and whatever stuck in my brain.

Up early to get a stimulating workout tomorrow before I drive down. I didn’t fit any exercise in today because brain workout > body workout.

Nate demanded some clarification for the V-day card from the husband that curiously had “2008” painted at the bottom:

The trademark on this card says 2008….does this mean

a) This card was given to you in 2008 and you’re a liar

b) Your husband forgot what year it is

c) The card itself was designed in 2008, but was given to you this year

The correct answer> is C! He painted it last year and was saving it to use for a special occasion.

G’night!

I’ve never had the naan from TJ. Must put that on the “to try” list because it always looks so good.

Ahh .. your afternoon reminds me of high school. I was in Honors Physics with my best friend and it was SO. Hard. for me to grasp. We used to spend HOURS at Panera trying to nail down the info. You’ve gotta believe you studied all you could! Hope tomorrow goes great!! 🙂
