Bozewoman

After a relaxing shower and a super duper blog post, we met back up with Janna and Bobby for a walk through Bozeman and dinner. These guys are so nice, and although we hadn’t met in person until today, I felt like we’ve know them for ages : ) (Actually Laura ask me how long I’d know Janna earlier today and I told her we had just met that morning!)

IMG_8389Blog

Some Bozeman sightseeing. I think this is the one Montana town I could actually see myself living in (thanks to a nice array of cute restaurants!)

IMG_8388Blog

IMG_8394Blog

And friendly bears!

IMG_8392Blog

We couldn’t resist returning to Montana Ale Works for dinner! Last year it was a hit! And we all know what the beer fanatic voted for.

IMG_8393Blog

Cozy, great beer and even better food menu

IMG_8395Blog

I got a half pint of the Blackfoot River Scottish Ale – a tiny, slender glass. YUM!!!

IMG_8396Blog

The second half of my beer was another half pint of Bitter Root Brewing’s Winter Warmer. I love that 1/2 plus 1/2 equals one!

IMG_8406Blog

We all shared the Spicy Calamari for an appetizer

IMG_8399Blog

IMG_8403Blog

And for dinner…I finally got that Bison Burger! It felt like the right place to do it.

IMG_8407Blog

I smothered him in ketchup and mustard and cut him in half to share some with Matt. The burger was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. I think something on a Great Harvest bun tops the charts!

IMG_8416Blog

I upgraded my dinner to come with a side salad, which was nice.

IMG_8411Blog

After dinner, which we had EARLY, we walked to a chocolatier for dessert to pick up some fancy flavors

IMG_8418Blog

Salted Caramel Hibiscus

Coconut Almond

Rum Raisin

…and my favorite: CHAI!

They were all delish.

IMG_8422Blog

We are super cozy in the ever-FABULOUS Homewood Suites!!!!!!!!!!! I just LOOOOVE this hotel chain (always rave about the Davidson location!) Each room is like a studio apartment with a full size kitchen (too bad we won’t get the chance to do any cooking! If only we could have spent all of our training weeks here!) and also a super nice bathroom (with a glass shower this time!) and heavenly bed. I rarely have brand favorites, but I always look for a Homewood Suites when I travel now.

Goodnight guys!

I love apartment-esque hotel rooms! They usually aren’t pricier than regular hotel rooms too. Great photos despite the dark restaurant lighting!

I used to live in Bozeman…your pictures really make me miss it. Such a great place to live..enjoy every minute while you are there. If you need some good coffee in the morning you should check out The Daily Coffee Bar (N. Rouse & Oak S), they serve locally roasted, organic fairtrade coffees, not to mention they have the best scones in town! Enjoy!
