To my pleasant surprise, starting today, Beautycounter is opening up shop this month with a sale – yes, really, it’s true! I was going to wait until Monday to publish this post, but things are selling out fast, so here’s a surprise Saturday post!
The In-Between Sale
The newly formed company is calling this an “in-between” sale they are offering due to so many people asking to purchase products as they run out. Starting now and running through December 2, you can purchase all of your Beautycounter favorites, including perfumes and holiday sets.

Am I Switching Everything Back To Beautycounter?
Beautycounter closed its doors this spring, quite suddenly, and is planning to reopen sometime in 2025. I was really sad about this, and have spent the last several months seeking out clean beauty swaps that could replace my beloved Beautycounter products. Since then, I have been using Oliveda for skincare, Crunchi for makeup, plus Dime and Colleen Rothschild products.
I won’t be dropping everything new and going back to being all in on Beautycounter. There are some Beautycounter things that I can’t live without, and others that I have been happy moving on from. I’ve enjoyed diversifying my products. And to be honest, I like Oliveda’s skincare even more than Countertime! I’ll be sticking with Oliveda for my skincare routine. As for makeup, fragrance, deodorant, body, and more – I plan to mix it up!
What I’m Buying:
- Perfume – No other clean scents compare to Second Skin and Hyper Rose. I’m a floral girl through and through. I need more rollerballs for travel and purses. I will be stocking up!
- Jellies – The Jellies are part of the sale! I am ADDICTED to these and love all the flavors in last year’s set. I will be buying a lot!
- Clean Deo – This is the only deodorant Mazen likes, and it’s still my favorite. Stocking up on refills for the year!!!
- Lemongrass Scrub – The best shower product ever. I also love to give this as a gift. You gotta smell the lemongrass to understand!
- Face Sunscreen – This is still my favorite face sunscreen. Even though most tinted moisturizers have SPF, this is what I layer under in the summer. It’s so smooth.
- Cleansing Balm – I like the Colleen Rothschild and Crunchi cleansing balms just fine, but this one is still my favorite. It has the best scent! I love it in the wintertime.
- Sheer Genius Lipstick – I haven’t found a date night lipstick as much as I love Lily. It’s so hydrating and almost like a gloss.
- AHA Mask – I love the texture and performance of this one more than others I’ve tried.
- Body Lotion – We all love the BC body lotion in the winter months – Thomas included!
What I’m Not Buying:
- Countertime – As I mentioned above, I’m sticking with Oliveda skincare! I think it smells better, and I love the waterless skincare routine. I know many of you are desperate to order Countertime again because it was the only skincare that worked for your skin type, so I’m pumped for you!
- Vitamin C serum and Overnight Peel – For now I’m sticking with the Oliveda version of these (vitamin C and AHA serum).
- Mascara – Honestly I’m liking the Crunchi Shattered Mascara the best because it doesn’t smudge!
- Dew Skin – GASP! I’m still obsessed with the Dime Wonderscreen. Get 20% off with my code KATHEATS.
- Cream blush – I like the wand-style applicator that Crunchi has better! The shade guava is comparable to the cider in BC’s line.
- Concealer – I’ve been hooked on the Colleen Rothschild Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream! The pigments neutralize dark circles and it doesn’t settle into lines.

My guess is they might do a site-wide sale closer to Black Friday when the above promos end, but also products are going to sell out, so get what you must have now and get more then if you want!
Are these the same products?
Yep! When Gregg bought the rights to sell Beautycounter back she bought the formulations and inventory that the former company owned. They have assured us that nothing is old or expired.
What about Band of Beauty?
Band of Beauty does not exist for now, as that was under the old company. For now, there is no product credit or Band of Beauty perks offered : (
What’s the return policy?
Note products are not eligible for return or exchange in this in-between sale. BUT if there is something wrong with your order, there is a customer support team to help send replacements or issue refunds.

I grabbed two of the things I wanted (tetrapeptide cream and mineral boost hydrating essence)! They didn’t have the all bright facial oil or lipid defense cleansing oil. I may try your recommended swaps for these when I get closer to running out.

Several people were bummed they missed the cleansing oil, and I’ve shared that the Oliveda one is very comparable in texture and performance and smells SO good! The Oliveda F63 facial oil is the swap for the All Bright. Free shipping too!

Do you know why they are not selling the All Bright Brightening Facial Oil separately in the regular size? I see that they are only offering the tiny size in the promotion. I really love it and it smells so good!
