beanpole.

IMG_2220Blog

Yesterday I could not focus.

Today I am on a roll!

IMG_2226Blog IMG_2227Blog

My mind is clear and things are getting crossed off the list. There is only one villain to blame for this change: hormones! Whatever was in my blood yesterday is gone today.

Lunch was fast and furious – the last of the Huge Bean Soup topped with yogurt

IMG_2225Blog

Three hunks of Cville Crunch bread (and another as an appetizer!)

IMG_2222Blog

And two happy clementines

That bread always looks so delicious! We don’t even have a bakery around here. All the bakeries around here specialize in sweets – that’s it! You’re making me jealous!

Dang hormones! They mess with even the best of us. Glad you’re more on track today. That soup looks totally yummy and clementines can turn anyone’s mood to instant happiness. They’re so darn cute. Have a nice afternoon!

I made clementine fruit salad yesterday, and then again this morning for breakfast. It was bursting with flavor, and I was bursting with energy. Don’t you just love foods that have that effect?

Glad you are feeling better. I think we all need the extra vitamin c right now!

Just picked up a bag of “cuties” for the kids and myself. Hoping the vitamin C helps keep us feeling healthy and focused. Lack of sleep has left me a little unfocused today but still productive. I totally agree with hormones being to blame and the fact that it is cold and there is snow on the ground! Blah, it’s going to be a long winter here in Nebraska!
