We are having a blast here at the beach. We may never go home! Wouldn’t that be fun.

Showers

Playtime

NAPS { = adult time to read/sleep/chill/drink wine/eat ice cream/work….}

Playtime/cocktail hour

Bedtime { = adult time to play cards/converse/read/sleep/chill/drink wine/eat ice cream/NOT work…}

The boys just love the ocean and have gone from being scared of the littlest surf to wanting to play IN the waves!! “MORE WAVES” Mazen says!!

I love our beach house décor. I think I need a sailboat for my house!

Foodblog-9494

I also love all the Dash + Albert rugs!

Foodblog-9496

This house is also well stocked with magazines. Even if I did read this issue a year ago…

Foodblog-9524

On the food front we’ve been eating well. Lots of salads and No Bull Burgers for lunch and seafood for dinner. Matt and I have a Seafood Of The Day and the vegetarians make their protein of choice and we make carbs and veggies together.

Each couple is getting a date night too. C + K went out on Monday and Matt and I devoured 50 clams in butter after the boys were in bed.

    I’m loving these beach trip posts. Looks like an amazing time and the house your renting is beautiful! Also, I got so excited about the beer you were drinking since my dog’s name is Ellie. My husband and I now have a mission to score ourselves some!

    Nomnomnom all of the food looks DELICIOUS! Especially the clams – I have yet to have them this summer (I think I’ll get on that!) And cookies and creme ice cream is my favorite 😉 Glad you guys are having such a wonderful time!

    I feel really bad being a debby downer on this, but if that is a sewer outfall pipe in one of your pictures you guys really should not swim in the water down current of it after it rains. Up current you guys should be fine, but those pipes carry any stormwater runoff from the roads and then any excess sewer water that cannot get to the waste water treatment plant. This usually happens during heavy rain events like we have had recently. I just want you guys to have a safe swimming experience! Sorry to put a damper on it!

    This seriously looks like the most relaxing vacation ever. And that house! It’s so big and beautifully decorated! I’d love to own a vacation home like that one day… haha although renting would be pretty good too! Less upkeep 🙂

    I won’t spill the location (especially since we are currently there right now too!)! We went to the aquarium a couple of days ago and my 14 month old had a blast. It’s been so much fun seeing her “discover” the ocean. Which, I can’t keep her out of regardless of how cold or rough the water is. No fear at all, I tell ya!!!

    Hey, I’m not one to complain about ad placement but there’s an actual ad “placement” issue. LOL That is, there is a Glad ad that’s obscuring a good portion of your texts and pics. It’s one of those ads where if you hover over it, an even bigger ad pops out. Except I’m not even hovering. Just thought you should know. thanks!
