Baby In The Sky With Diamonds

image this !

Just a’travelin’ cross the country this afternoon. No big deal : ) Baby has been very active this flight – all on the right side where I get tons of legs and feet.

Long flight first! The boring one filled with work on my laptop and reading.

I picked up a nice bagel veggie and Swiss sandwich in the Seattle airport. Didn’t eat all of the whole wheat bagel because it was branny, dry and huge.

image

A few bites of my Great Harvest Trek Bar for dessert!

image

Enjoyed a lovely soda cocktail towards the end of the flight. Only had to go to the bathroom once!

image

Short layover in Chicago before I’m headed home!

Got this yogurt with Heath bar for a snack… This is a small!? Didn’t finish it all.

image

And lastly, I found this healthy little chicken, eggplant, veggie and quinoa bowl at Argo tea! It’s Earl Grey tea scented. Hoping it is good and the onions on the ingredient list are few and mild.

image

See you for breakfast on the porch!!

Wow, it’s amazing that you could eat so healthfully while flying, guess there are more and more choices out there! Hope you have a safe flight home!

Happiest Baby on the Block…we used to show a video clip to new parents at the new parent brunch during the week (Mon-Fri). I’m not sure if they still do it now, but I will tell you that the “jiggling” technique really helps fussy babies. For some reason, Dads do this really well 🙂 I think it’s still on Netflix…it helps to see the technique…for visual learners 🙂

Just wanted to let you know that I tried my first Great Harvest Trek Bar this afternoon. I was in Sioux Falls, SD with my mom, who also tried a Trek Bar, and stopped at the Great Harvest there because you blog about your bakery often. The Trek Bar ROCKS! I enjoyed half as an afternoon of shopping pick me up. Thank you for blogging about your business and your favorites there.

Check out the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD (or just some YouTube clips) – if you haven’t already. His movements are so precise, so it’s kind of nice to have the visual too.

At first glance the Canada Dry looked like Miller Lite. Not sure which would be worse: drinking during pregnancy or drinking Miller Lite.

Gotta love feeling those legs and feet and all the other parts! I always felt like my kids were stretching and bouncing around in there all the time instead of being curled up. And of course it seemed like whenever I was trying to rest or sleep that was their playtime!

Oooh is that TCBY choc+vanilla with heath bar on it? If so, that is pretty much my favorite combo EVER. I used it get it all the time when I was a kid! (I wish they were still around MD!)
And you’re right – the small is not small. I get the kiddie size when I go (which is either in Bethany Beach or next to my father-in-law’s house in Boston!)
