Ate Late.

Foodblog-4089

Oh boy, how it is 11am already!? Time flies when you sleep till 9! I’m going to get used to this 9am wake up time and then – BAM – baby is going to take me by an even bigger surprise : )

Foodblog-4098

I was up at 5 this morning for 30 minutes, but thankfully 2 swigs of juice put me back to sleep. Not sure what it is about my hormones right now that loves the 4-6am time frame!

Foodblog-4088

Cereal + yogurt + fruit for a quick breakfast. Greek yogurt, Barbara’s Shredded Oats, Cville Cluster, peach, blackberries, almond butter, chia seeds.

Scorecard!

Pretty darn good! But overnight oats wins by a hair : )

A rainy day has taken over – so much for going to the pool this morning as we had planned! Maybe some book reading instead : )

I slept in today too. Sundays are usually donut days, but usually at our house, overnight oats win too! 🙂

I’m glad you’re getting rest now though! Enjoy that while you can even if there is a little juice interruption along the way! We have a rainy day here too. Hopefully you two can enjoy some quiet relaxation today!

The last month is the WORST for trying to sleep. I could never go back to bed either. So exhausting.

I know you’ve said swimming isn’t your fav way to exercise (me neither), so it’s funny that, more often than not “something” seems to save you each time from going! Have you noticed that reoccurring theme?! heehee the universe is on your side!! I’m just teasing you in case you can’t read my tone.

Yummy brekkie – that peach looks divine! I feel like they are slowly losing their taste as the season goes on, BUT soooo nice that it will be apply pickin’ time, soon!

Oooh that rainy morning looks lovely. Also, you always make cereal seem so freakin’ appetizing! I might have to eat some now 😛

My day involved an 11am breakfast as well…couldn’t believe the time when I looked at the clock! Wish I could say I slept until 9 though. I could have used it! I’ve accomplished much though (including a great workout and numerous loads of laundry), so it’s a good trade-off.

    Happy Sunday!

I truly believe that Mother Nature, or hormones, mess with your sleep now to prepare you for when a baby wants to be awake!

I dreamed last night that I bought Barbara’s Oat Squares… but alas, there were none in the house when I went to make breakie.

Yep, hormones preparing you to wake up early with baby. I had Barbaras shredded oats, too, at 6 am, when my 4 mth old woke up. Thankfully, 2 hours later we were back down for a nap & all slept until noon. Enjoy these last few days. So exciting!

Naturally Nutty Cinnamon Vanilla – I think the cinnamon makes it super dark

That is the downfall to being a personal shopper…you work most sundays! Yikes 🙁 Hopefully I will soon be able to say “Thank god it’s Friday” and not work weekends anymore 🙂

Could you please tell me what that purple vine is? Weve been pulling it up, maybe its not a weed after all.

It looks like morning glory. Some people love it, some people consider it a weed. 🙂 It depends a bit on where you live. I grew up in Virginia, and most people there who had it planted it on purpose. Then I moved to Seattle, and people pulled it out because it spread out of control. I think the difference is that in the winter in Virginia it was cold enough that the vine died back, so it stayed moderately under control. In Seattle, nothing kept it under control so you had to pull it.

Man, sleeping in would be so lovely right now. I’ve got pregnancy insomnia big time and every snack I’ve tried to help me fall back asleep results in heartburn 🙁 You’re so lucky juice works!
