Another Jar Bites The Dust

I was up early today for the final day this week – this time for YOGA!! The #1 workout for early mornings. It was a shower-at-the-studio-and-eat-at-work kinda day, so I had more time to sleep not having to blog at home.

Emily and I met for Tanner‘s 6:30 hot vinyasa class. 15 minutes early to get some talking in 🙂 Before I left I had a few swigs of coconut water and another date. Perfect pre-workout nibbles!

Yoga was incredible – just what I needed. Let’s get this weekend started on a relaxing note! I don’t have plans, so I hope I can relax [and pack!] as much as possible. Moving day is 7 days away!

I took overnight oats in a Nuttzo jar to work!

IMG_5238 (640x427)

This was the mixture last night:

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup Voskos fat free yogurt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • Nuttzo residue

and a blob of Naturally Nutty Cinnamon Vanilla Sunflower Buttta. I had to add a little more texture since there was barely any Nuttzo left! I used the jar more for a container than the flavor 🙂

IMG_5239 (640x427)

A wee bit of Galaxy Granola Hint O Honey to go on top.

IMG_5247 (640x427)

And a long iced tea spoon!

IMG_5237 (640x427)

I’ll likely get a coffee to go with. Half decaf this time!

Happy Weekend 🙂

How many jars of nut butter do you have open at one time? I got through mine so slowly, but I feel like you have an empty jar every week… jealous! 😉

A LOT!!!! Plus I have a lot of people sampling them and a husband to help. I always have some full, some halfway, some empty.

Teehee, I love that you adore the Nuttzo so much that there was hardly any left in the jar! You should see me frantically scraping my jars of flavoured peanut butter from the US… I think I jsut never want to accept that the butter’s gone and I can’t restock!!

I was at an exercise training last week, and I met a woman who eats overnight chia. No oats, just soaks a bunch of chia seeds in almond milk and eats that for breakfast — made me think of you and your overnight oats.
