Ahhh, summer! My favorite season of all.
Our pool bag is packed, bring on all the sun!
Whether we’re having a BBQ with friends, hanging out at our pool, taking a family trip to the beach, or just relaxing on our screened porch, I realized that a lot of our summer must-haves are from Amazon – including some of my favorite black one piece swimsuits!

Swim & Beach
Rubber Birkenstock Sandals – these are great beach and pools days. I had the knock offs and the real ones are so much better!
The Best Beach Umbrella – this travels with us on our beach trips every year. You set it up with a base made from the sand on the beach, so there is no hole digging and no worry that wind will blow it away! Plus there is no flapping fabric in your ear (Thomas’s worst nightmare).
Roll-up Straw Sun Visor Hat – this sun hat is perfect for packing in a suitcase because it rolls up in a neat little roll. I love having my ponytail out too!
Retro Women’s Sunglasses – I like the soft brown frames. Can’t have too many sunglasses!
Supergoop SPF 50 – this is a great sunscreen sub for BC.
Home + Attire
Breezy activewear shorts – great for walking, hiking, working in the yard.
The best folding chairs – we have these for sports events, camping and concerts and they are SO comfortable!! Love that they have cupholders too.
Yeti wine tumblers – great for camping, the beach, the pool, backyard hangouts, wherever!
G43 athletic shorts – these have high, stretchy waistband that mimics leggings. I’m a fan of this style (Trekkie shorts)! I also love the pocket placement on these – going to try! And these are dupes of the Run With It shorts I wear all the time from Athleta.
Nude wedges – I bought these to wear as a lightweight wedge heel to summer parties and they are so comfortable.
Perfect striped tee – I have this tee in cream and green and get so many compliments on it. $14.99 is hard to beat!
Kids
Inflatable watermelon pool – we have this on the ready for those scorching hot days
Two pack of swim goggles – nothing fancy, but they work well
Reusable water balloons – Mazen & Birch love these!
The best rash guards – just $10 each!
Sunscreen applicator – a must for squirmy kids, makes applying SPF quick and effective
Mazen’s favorite sleeveless athletic shirts – a pack of 5 is $31
