A Fresh New Look For Breakfast

This post is sponsored by Celestial Seasonings

Foodblog (7 of 7)

I drink a TON of tea – morning, afternoon, evening. I like my Sleepytime with honey, my black tea with a splash of milk, and my chai with honey and milk! This morning I’m drinking Morning Thunder – a bold, caffeinated breakfast blend by Celestial Seasonings. Served with two slices of Cinnamon Raisin Walnut toast and almond butter plus a nectarine!

Celestial Seasonings is clearly my favorite tea brand, and I’ve loved working with them this year. They have big news: their box designs have a new fresh look.

Foodblog (1 of 7)

The new design is modern, clean, and still includes the iconic Celestial Seasonings artwork that makes each tea unique. The boxes feature a new logo, a big and bold tea name that is easier to spot, an upfront and center tea description, highlights from the tea box art that you’ll recognize from the past, and a tea type tab that makes it easy for consumers to distinguish between herbal, green, black, etc. teas.

Foodblog (3 of 7)

Here’s a view of the old versus the new – I love the updated look!!

Foodblog (5 of 7)

Also of note: the company strives for earth-friendly design – cartons are made with 100% recycled material, and are biodegradable and recyclable. Plus the tea bags omit strings, staples and individual wrappers – saving 3.5 million pounds of material from landfills every year. I had no idea that was why Celestial Seasonings didn’t have strings and staples until my tour of the HQ last year. Thumbs up.

And while the boxes are different, the teas inside are the same recipes as always.

What’s your favorite Celestial Seasonings box art? I loved seeing all of the historic art when I toured the HQ last year. I think the Morning Thunder is my favorite!

This post is part of my sponsored partnership with Celestial Seasonings.

    Hi Kath,
Just a note – I think you meant to use the word versus instead of verses. Thanks for the interesting post.

It should be old “versus” new. Just FYI.

I have to admit that I like the fancy of the old packaging best, but then I tend to be an old-fashioned girl. The new look is fresh and uncluttered.

I like Sleepytime. We call it Teddy Bear tea around here.

I hope you have a pleasant day. It’s been cool enough here this morning for cocoa.

My first thought was…. “I hope they keep the artwork on the boxes!” Glad to see they have 🙂

I love Celestial Seasonings! The tour in Boulder is so much fun. My favorite artwork is the Wild Blueberry bear rafting down the river. I also have a mug with the Morning Thunder buffalo… I went a little overboard at the gift shop!

Oh man, I love their mandarin orange spice. Honestly though, this makes me so sad! I loooove their old packaging. Now it just looks the same as all the other tea boxes. I should go to my local store and stock up before the box change!

Lemon Zinger is my go to drink when I want something hot but have had enough caffeine.

I don’t like the new look. 🙁 They look so boring now.

I’m surprised a foodie like yourself still drinks bagged tea! Loose leaf all the way for me. I am kind of a tea snob. 🙂 The C.S. flavors sound fun, though.

Oh no, I loved the old sleepy time box, that bear is sweet on his own, but with his lovely cosy fireplace and sweet little room it is so much better! The rest of the varieties look nice with their new boxes. Bring back the fireplace! 😀
