I love this new page Kath!
being a food blogger too, i love the occasional escape from food with the indulgence of home and thoughtful design. thank you for the helpful kitchen tips. i am excited to read more in this series, especially since i am moving in a few months!
I love the Home Neat Home series! I especially appreciate the Queen’s room organizational ideas. I can use plenty of inspiration in organizing my wardrobe, that’s for sure!
I absolutely love your kitchen. Classic and clean lines. Also the counters are marvelous. If I had this kitchen I think I’d cook more
I love this! I could always use some pointers on how to streamline and declutter my life a bit.
LOVE this series! So fun and extremely informative and helpful! Also I love your cute old house.
I am moving in a couple of months, and just packed up all our house to go into storage. I’ve shown your pages to my husband and he’s all into the new storage ideas you have! So excited to organize my house
Love this! How long do you spend cleaning each week? It seems like I am FOREVER cleaning and my place is not nearly as organized as yours!
Not that long, but I’m away.cleaning too! So much dirt
Dirt sucks, plain and simple. My biggest issue is floors! I vaccuum, sweep and swiffer yet they are never perfect! How do you keep the floor situation under control?
Our floors are my worst too! I LOVE my Swiffer Sweeper Vac – doing that every night helps. This house has really old wood floors so they don’t show dirt and I can get by with infrequent moppings. Im’ going to research cleaning stuff soon!
I just bought a Swiffer Sweeper Vac. I like it better than the regular Swiffer.
I also KERF-ified my fridge and showed the BF how I had it organized. Not sure how long it will stay that way, though.
I LOVE your Home Neat Home posts! They are so inspiring. This weekend I cleaned out my drawers in my kitchen and added some organizers. It has saved me a ton of time already when I look for that 1 item!
I too appreciate your Home Neat Home posts. It’s awesome to get to peak inside someone else’s house and see what works for them in terms of organization.
For what it’s worth, I don’t find your explanation of the Shaklee products offputting. I’ve been thinking for a while that I can’t stand using the toxic mix of chemicals that I have in my cleaning closet. I would like to transition toward greener products and having a good recommendation always helps!
I wish my home looked like this. I have trouble with organization and cleaning.
I have chronic muscle pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis. I can clean but not for too long and if I do too much it hurts for 2-3 days after. Therefore I don’t vacuum or wash floors very often and I hate it.
I always had a clean house before this happened to me about, 1996 or so. I have to pace myself so not much gets done on a large scale and I get frustrated. I recently cleaned my fridge. I used hot water and baking soda. It really needed it. It took a while but it’s done for a while.
I recently stumbled onto your blog…..I love it.
When do we get to see the full new house unveiling?!
Coming soon!! I need to start brainstorming!
