Dark Chocolate Dreams

March 16, 2010

I have to say, the Dark Chocolate Dreams was on my brain all night long as I mentally prepared for this morning’s oatmeal concoction

Froth just doesn’t work when I make French press for two people. Hmmm.

I think Lauri enjoyed her bowl too!

how does dark chocolate dreams compare to cacao bliss? You turned me onto that one, so I may have to take your word on this, too! ;)

dark chocolate dreams is divine but my favorite PB&Co nut butter is mighty maple… it has a subtle maple flavor and it’s not too sweet BUT it’s ridiculously hard to find so i switched to justin’s maple almond butter which i adore even more!! i think i could go on for hours about nut butter.. so i am just going to stop it at that ;) hope you have a fantastic tuesday and i will check out the breathe post asap.. xoxo!

The crumbled muffin looks sooo good on your pats! I don’t know about dark chocolate dreams with pumpkin though, sounds like too many flavors for me. Now with banana… YES! :)

Oohh- that PB and Co brand are the best – I really want to try that flavour! They only stock one of their flavours over here :(

I found your Breathe post to be very insightful! I wish I were better at transitions. Change is so hard–I wish I were better at embracing it. It’s not that I don’t like adventure, but often the adventure becomes overwhelming. Even on a small scale, I have a hard time with the work/home transition each day. I wonder what it would take to make that transition more graceful…

So that’s why I never get the froth! I always make a full carafe of French Press – definitely enough for two people. And there’s never any froth.
Have a great day today!

Reply

40 Heather (Heather's Dish) March 16, 2010 at 9:21 am

french press for two definitely decreases the amount of room to create froth…but i bet the coffee still tastes amazing! i love chocolate in oatmeal…probably one of my favorite combos!

If you like the dark chocolate dreams PB, you should try their other flavors! http://ilovepeanutbutter.com/

The cinnamon raisin swirl is another good flavor.

The whole froth/no froth thing is so weird. Certain coffees yes, some no and double coffee, no? How weird is that!! Off to read your article!! =)

47 Cynthia (It All Changes) March 16, 2010 at 10:12 am

That peanut butter was dangerous in my house. I used it for desert with a banana and a spoon. I had to make it a special occasion thing or I would eat the entire jar with a spoon.

Your Breathe article was awesome. I think difficult situations help us better appreciate things we might normally take for granted.

Wow your Oatmeal looks incredible………….
We don’t have such cool PB here in France. But I once mixed some hazelnut butter with dark chocolate, a little bit of milk and agave syrup, heated the whole thing up in the microwave and obtained some Nutella tasting creamy deliciousness! It was delish on my oats… Should make that again!

51 Hannah March 16, 2010 at 1:42 pm

Pumpkin cinnamon carrot raisin vanilla chocolate?? Yeah, that’s kindof amazing. Definitely going to head to your Breathe post now – when I finish travelling I’m looking at a big period of transitions, so I think you’re going to help me!!
