Welcome, June.
One of my favorite months!!! Simple. Warm. Festive.
I did not sleep well last night at all – I tossed and turned. I think really I was just too excited to get up and eat Lynda’s Granola.
Pablo and Lynda shared the recipe for the most delicious and addicting granola ever with us. Because we don’t have a Lynda at our store, we’re 99% sure we’re going to call it Cville Cluster! Because it’s all about the clusters..
I piled a bunch on top of a cup of greek yogurt and a banana and topped it off with a dollop of Smucker’s Natural.
I promise there is yogurt underneath!
It’s an early start for me – headed in to the bakery on my bike. Hope I make it!
It might be dark by the time I get back home! But I’ll see you at lunch.

Have a good day at the bakery! I do love June – the perfect summer month.
YUM! Looks good to me!
Now – can you share Lynda’s recipe with us?!
(for some reason my comments aren’t showing – is there a problem with them?).
I agree– in fact, I think June might be my *very favorite* month!!
Those clusters do look DELICIOUS!
Oh that granola looks delish. Enjoy your day!
Clusters are my favorites, I always search for them in my granola bags
Have a good productive day!
Simple is such a good descriptor for June! I love how there are no holidays, no weddings (this year), cookouts, and sunshine. Perfect.
Why haven’t you tried the incredible sweet potato butter or dulce de leche from feast yet?
Because I didn’t know about them yet!?
I had the same exact breakfast, sub blueberries for the bananas. Granola clusters are the best- our bag from the Farmers Market has all huge chunks in it… its like eating cookies.
I love granola clusters too – especially the Nature’s Path Ancient Grains granola ones! June is one of my favourite months as well. Even thought it’s hoooooooottttt, I’m not complaining because it seems like it took spring/summer forever to get here!
LOVE Ancient Grains but have no Costco!
omg I started drooling before I even read what it was that was piled inside your bowl – LOVE crunchy clusters! Kashi Honey Almond Flax cereal has the BEST, massive clusters. Happy June!
Clusters are my FAVORITE part of granola.
That granola looks amazing! Have a great day!
1.) I LOVE June!
2.) Your bkfst looks phenomonal…as it always does
Have a wonderful start to June!
Mmmm…clusters are the best part of granola!
Have a great day at the bakery, Kath!
Mmmm you can never go wrong with granola clusters!
I LOVE granola was big chunks (clusters is a way better word haha) – it’s one of the factors of whether or not I’ll get that granola aaagain.
Wow so awesome of Lynda to share her recipe with you
I can’t wait to drop by and grab a bag of the granola you’re always raving about!
Are you sure you can’t share the recipe? My kids and I have almost polished off our last 3 batches of granola. They love making (and eating) it! Also, 4 1/2 year old son needs the address of your Great Harvest so he “knows how to find it”. My kids are ready to pack up and come visit but it’s a long drive from Nebraska. Meanwhile, we make frequent trips to our local GH (DD wanted to know if they were open Memorial Day). Enjoy your day at the bakery. Everything looks wonderful, a result of all of your hard work. Thanks for brightening up my mornings with your posts.
Sorry, I can’t!
I guess that is why when I was trying to click on the blue highlighted name of ‘Cville Cluster’ it did not take me to the Recipage link with the recipe–thought something was wrong with my computer. Guess I’m not the only one who was hoping to get the recipe…hope it is a big seller for you! How exciting in your final countdown and being able to share it with family, friends, your wonderful staff and Great Harvest mentors. Have fun…and try to sleep so you can be 100%. LOL
Happy June! After reading so much about how good Lynda’s granola is I’m dying to try some! So excited that you’ll be selling it at your store.
Ahhh..I spy my all time favorite blue buddha bowl!
Safe riding, Kath!
June IS the perfect summer month, totally agree! Have a good day!
Yum! Your breakfast look delicious! I love the June placemat! Have a great time at the bakery today! Good luck with everything!
I am so excited for you guys! And I totally cannot wait to come visit and finally taste all the foods you’ve been raving about!
Wow, thanks for reminding me that today’s the first day of June! I completely forgot. Hah, isn’t it ironic that the first *real* day of summer is the first time I eat hot oats in forever? That granola looks delicious, though–I made my own super clumpy granola for the first time this weekened! SO GOOD.
Sometimes breakfasts with minimal ingredients are as ( or more) satisfying than those which are totally pimped out! Pb+granola+banana+yogurt–> all my favorite foods in one bowl!
I feel like the only person in creation who DOESN’T like granola clusters. I like my granola loose!
Super excited that it’s June, too. Good luck with your last few days!!
Granola is all about the big clusters — those are the best!
The big clusters are what granola is all about. This looks wonderful!
will you be selling that granola @ the bakery? it looks amazing! i love clusters!
have a great wed.
Yup!
I’m totally with you on the clusters. They definitely do rule. Whenever I get a new box of Kashi Go Lean Crunch the first thing I do is comb through the box and pull out the big clusters to pop in my mouth
I love June too! I just love summer to be honest. I can’t get enough of the warm weather.
i dislike when granola comes with no clusters
where’s the crunch! cheers to clusters
Clusters are so much better than crumbly granola! Happy june!
oh my that does look lovely! You’re so right that it’s all about the clusters!
Good luck today!
How did June get here already? Beautiful breakfast bowl!
I can’t believe it’s already June!! Time’s flying! AND that you’re so close to opening your bakery doors!!
Oh that granola looks delish. Enjoy your day!
I’m super impressed you even have a June-themed linen! Nicely done.
Welcome June. I love that you hung your grandmother’s artwork in the bakery.
That breakfast looks amazing! All of yours always do!
I didn’t sleep well last night either. Huge bummer!
That granola sounds delicious:)
Always nice to have house guests. Have fun!
Clusters are the best!
true story
I love big chunky clusters of granola! I made my own granola a few times and it turned out quite well
Best of luck in your day. That granola sounds yummy, gotta love clusters!!!
June IS my fave month. It’s summertime and it’ smy bday month!
Big clusters are the best. Why eat pulverized particles when you can have big clusters
You need to eat at these two places…. both incredible and all local food

Get the egg salad and bacon sandwich
I’ve heard of Greenwood, but not Doctor Hos!
holy crap it’s june?!? i have to change my contacts!
(This made me laugh out loud! Love it!!).
That granola looks delicious. I am glad you are going to carry it in the bakery
It ‘s almost lunch time and those clusters are making me hungry! I love your June napkin, where did you get it and is there one for every month?
Yes, every month. It was a gift for my mom
Love the name of the granola
AND the way the bananas are trying to get in on that cluster action!
Agreed! I love clusters. Your granola looks absolutely fabulous!
Like actually. The clusters are kiiind of the best part. Slash I will come allll the way to your great harvest JUST to taste some of that granola. It’s okay that we can’t see the yog. No shame
That looks heavenly!!!!
Clustery granola is the only way to go!
Have a good day Kath!
Mmmm…those clusters look AMAZING indeed…sure to be a top-seller!
Wow that looks delicious! Those clusters look amazing
The addition of the banana and Natural Spread really makes the dish look great. Nice work.
Clusters make the world go round!!!
So exciting to see that GH is opening soon for you guys!!!! Hope opening day is perfect
clusters DO rule and that’s a heck of a good lookin breakfast! I’m totally one to get excited about breakfast and want to fall asleep sooner so it’ll be morning before I know it
June is one of my favorite months too!!
Yay for June! Okay, I always think I’m cool and eating a yummy cute breakfast until I see yours. How can you make something sl simple look so fabulous???? Good luck with everything today!
Happy June! That looks like the perfect meal to start a great month
I’ve been rocking the yogurt/granola thing lately for lunch lately. You’re my inspiration!
Hi Kath, what type of bike do you have? And where did you get it? I’ve been looking for a commuter bike. Thanks!
Trek 7.2 from a local bike store. Love it!
Also, Spring Valley has cherry picking right now
mmm I love clusters in granola. YUMM
I like June, too! Being that we live in a state that is deprived of sun for most of the year–our winter months are so long–it is so nice to get some Vitamin D and endorphins
from it during the summer months!
I like the name “Cville Cluster.”
http://faithfulsolutions.blogspot.com/
Is the granola gluten-free? And will you have any other gluten-free treats?
I’m always looking for gluten-free options at new places. I think I’m coming to C’ville this weekend, I definitely want to try and come by to see the grand opening! So happy for you guys!
It’s not gluten-free because we use oats. We also are a wheat-based bakery, so it’s extremely difficult for us to do gluten-free recipes. I’m sorry, but I hope you’ll still stop in!
That looks amazing! I love dense thick mixes
Darn, I wish you could share the recipe on your blog! I guess I’ll just have to come to Cville to try it.
