Mustard Pecan BBQ Slaw
This was the best slaw I’ve ever had. Period. I attribute that to the fabulous BBQ sauces, but the toasted pecans were a perfect touch.
I poured about 2 tbsp mustard-style BBQ sauce, 1 tsp Country Bob’s Spicy Sauce and 1 tsp Gulden’s Zesty mustard into the bottom of a bowl.
Add in 4 cups of shredded green cabbage. Then I drizzled about a few more teaspoons of each on top and mixed thoroughly.
Plus a pinch of salt and pepper.
And about a quarter cup of chopped pecans, toasted in the microwave for 1 minute on high.
Makes 2 heaping servings.

Yum. Is Mustard-Style BBQ Sauce something that is common? I dont feel like i have run into it before. This looks awesome though, i crave “summer foods” like bbq and slaw. Unfortunately it is still one hundred percent winter in Montana.

Mustard-style is a South Carolina regional thing, I believe.
