Wind In The Willows

Boy is it windy out there! You’d think it was Hurricane Christmas out there…

IMG_6239Blog

Wind in the willows would have kept me up all night if I hadn’t luckily brought my earplugs..

KERF UPLOAD8Blog

Breakfast was a bowl of cereal (Quaker Oatmeal squares – Allie’s box!) with granola crumbles and fresh fruit

IMG_6194BlogIMG_6200BlogIMG_6195BlogIMG_6197BlogIMG_6189Blog

We went out to take some photos of the marsh in the bright blue sky. Do we look cold?

KERF UPLOAD10BlogKERF UPLOAD9BlogIMG_6218Blog

We are/were planning a long run on the island. I’m kind of afraid I’ll be blown into the marsh!

The wind was crazy last night! No snow in DC but plenty of wind. I just made it to and from the gym sporting a gorgeous windswept look. 😉

It’s really windy in DC, too. If you do run outside, be safe!! Hopefully you’ll run with the wind rather than against it.

Kath, I love how you can make even a simple bowl of Quaker Oat Squares (my fave cereal, may I add!) look gorgeous. You have such great talent. P.S. I know this is kind of RANDOM, but what type of earplugs do you wear? I’ve been meaning to get some to sleep at night, but the free airplane ones my mom gave me didn’t quite cut it!
