Following my trip to Williamsburg with American Heritage Chocolate, I got a copy of the new book Greatest Moments in Chocolate History: With 20 Classic Recipes From Around The World. 

Greatest Moments in Choc History2

The book features beautiful photos and descriptions of different moments of chocolate history (as promised!) plus fun facts, brand highlights and innovations.  The 20 recipes that follow range from decadent truffles to classic double chocolate cookies – which is what I made!!

    Next time try putting the dough in the fridge for a bit first. The cookies won’t spread out so much. And I finally caved after 6 years of baking cookies and bought a cookie scoop. They are the bomb dot com. You should get one if you plan on baking cookies again anytime soon 🙂

    Favorite way to enjoy chocolate?? When it’s in my mouth! 😉 But no really, I don’t know if I have a favorite, depends on the season. I love thin mints, mint chocolate chip ice cream, hot chocolate, in a good stout. . .

    Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I LOVE cookbooks but don’t have a chocolate one! I make a mocha everyday in place of regular coffee and love the addition of cocoa powder, so that’s my favorite way to enjoy it aside from a simple piece of dark chocolate! I would love to try this powder in my daily mix and know it would be great in baking! And, I’d love to see all the different recipes in the cookbook! Thanks so much!!:)

    I love chocolate, so it’s definitely touch to choose my favorite way to enjoy it – maybe in the form of a rich, high quality mint dark chocolate bar? Salted caramel chocolates are also quite amazing!

    The best way I’ve ever enjoyed chocolate was in a centuries old cafe in Spain ~ melted in a teacup with sugary churros on the side…be still my heart!!!

    I love hot chocolate. I make my own with milk, unsweetended cocoa powder, and a packet of stevia – sweet, delicious, and not too bad for me 😉 My sister-in-law in Guatemala, though, makes a killer hot chocolate out of a special Guatemalan chocolate brick… mm!
