Warm Weather Puffins

As much as I love making elaborate breakfasts in my kitchen every morning, I just love the simplicity of beach breakfasts. Throw a bunch of things in a bowl and eat!

Larbs brought puffins, which formed the base, plus berries, banana, Cville Cluster, and peanut butter.

Half cup of the real deal!

Weather report: so far, so good!

Weird that your ‘elaborate’ breakfasts and your ‘simple’ breakfasts look remarkably similar.

I don’t know if I’ve ever had the originals and I thought they were WAY better than the peanut butters!! More crunch and heft – like oatmeal squares!

Mmmm…Puffins never last long in our house. So good plain, with milk or yogurt.

I agree! When I was home, I started off making my elaborate oats, but then I just ended up making easy yogurt bowls! Vacation = easy!

I’ve actually been off the cereal breakfast boat for a few weeks now – not sure what gives – but yours looks crazy tasty! =)

Would you consider puffins a good/healthy breakfast cereal or is it a once in a while treat?

Hope your having fun at the beach 🙂

I love Puffins (the original flavor), but my almost 2 year old usually eat most of them. I guess I have to start buying two boxes a week. They are good crunched up on top of oatmeal too.
