Swag Down, Feet Up

IMG_5149 (427x640)

^^ Story of my life!

I am having the most glorious resting session in my hotel bed!! I can’t even tell you how nice it feels to put my feet up. My flats left my heels aching!

I explored around this afternoon, peeking into some of the sponsor lounges

IMG_5136 (427x640)

And stumbled upon afternoon snack covered in chocolate!

IMG_5138 (640x427) IMG_5140 (640x427)

I had a choco apricot!

IMG_5137 (640x427)

I ventured outside to find the most glorious day! It feels like October out there!

IMG_5145 (427x640)

IMG_5146 (640x427)

I met Roni and some Fitbloggin’ folks at Pinkberry. I wasn’t going to get anything – but then I got hungry!

I had the watermelon flavor, which tasted like strawberry (in a good way) with raspberries, coconut and mixed nuts. It was a great little snack!

IMG_5147 (427x640) (2)

I literally collapsed on my bed to chill for an hour.

Swag highlights:

Mini boxes of oatmeal squares!! One of my favorite cereals ever!

IMG_5150 (640x427) (2)

New feminine product to try…I will try to blog about this!?

IMG_5151 (640x427)

Full size beauty!!

IMG_5152 (640x427)

A Tempurpedic pillow! This will be great for the airplane ride home

IMG_5153 (640x427)

And San Diego beers from Tammy!!

IMG_5154 (427x640)

I’m going to have to unpeel myself from my bed to get dressed and head back to the conference for a little partying! This will be a challenge.

I would have been all OVER that chocolate pineapple. I’m actually strangely intrigued by the softcup, haha. (Those are two very weird sentences to be next to each other)

I’m sure someone else will bring this up, but if you like the idea of the softcup, you should try something like the diva cup. It’s the reusable alternative. The softcup’s flimsy-looking “cup” part looks like it’d be difficult to insert and remove. The firmer silicon of the diva cup makes it relatively easy.

I’m a diva cup fan as well. The only advantage of the softcup over the diva cup would be being able to wear it during sex.

Kinda bummed that I’m not at BlogHer this year. Re: the Softcup, I believe there are Diva Cup reps there, too. Maybe check them out. I tried a disposable menstrual cup years ago and didn’t like it, but then got a reusable one (the Keeper, which is the same thing as the Diva Cup but made of rubber) and I LOVE it. Everyone I know who uses the Diva Cup or the Keeper is pretty evangelical about it. /hippie

Mmmmm, I adore coconut anything! But, I have to say that I am not a Pinkberry fan (though I do LOVE their floors!!!). It’s just a bit too $$ and I like having control over my own ingredients/portions. If you ever see a Menchie’s, you should definitely try it. While their plain tart isn’t as creamy as Pinkberry, they have a better selection of flavors and toppings, AND they’re self-serve!
