Sunrise

Definitely feeling 108 sore muscles this morning!!

IMG_5217Blog

They have put my plans for a run on hold. Going to stretch out and see how I feel later. We’re going to an afternoon holiday party with Karen, departing at noon, so I think I will postpone any activity until after. Or just dust and clean my house and call that my activity today!

Hey Ramen bowl, long time no see!

IMG_5223Blog

I pittered around for 30 minutes this morning waiting to get hungry and for some craving to jump out at me. I couldn’t decide what I wanted! I wanted a smoothie, but I was chilled this morning. Finally oatmeal said she wanted to jump in my mouth and oats went into the pot.

The Mix

  • 1/3 cup oats, milk, water
  • Half banana
  • Cinnamon, vanilla, salt
  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese, stirred in at end
  • Rosie’s Best original granola (cinnamony  yum!)
  • Sunflower Butter
  • Salty peanuts
  • Spiced jam

Super delicious today!!

That bowl is so beautiful! I was reading through your posts and can’t believe you were in Newport! Yay Little Rhody! I love seeing places that are so common to me now through new eyes. The pictures were beautiful and I hope you had a great time in our little state.

I can’t believe I missed the solstice too – that yoga flow sounded awesome!

The color of that bowl is so pretty. And the new mugs are beautiful too.

Hopefully your legs feel better — sometimes a good stretch and a day “off” are all they need.

Kath, did you do just 108 straight salutations? No pausing between? Anything else? Did that take the full hour?

    Also, is 60 g of avocado = 100 calories. That’s what I’ve been assuming.

Yes, 108 straight through – it was challenging!
