Sunning Running

Back in our groove

 this !

~4.5 miles in the HOT HOT morning sun!

IMG_6559 (427x640)

Couldn’t have done it without a little ‘ade help in my camelbak!

IMG_6558 (640x427)

We slept until the sun woke us up around 7:30 and then set out on our run. Once back, I worked on smoothies for the group.

IMG_6560 (427x640)

Ingredients were unknown amounts of:

  • Banana
  • 1% milk
  • Raw rolled oats
  • Vega Vanilla Almond
  • Chia seeds
  • Ice
  • Strawberries

IMG_6563 (640x427)

Sadly eggs and Puffins seemed to take priority over smoothies and suddenly everyone just wanted “a taste” and I slurped up my SIAB happily solo

IMG_6565 (640x427)

And example of the eggs Matt made! [He complimented with smoothie!]

IMG_6579 (640x427)

I topped mine with a little granola + coconut mix I brought in a tupperware and coconut butter magic shell

IMG_6571 (640x427)

IMG_6575 (640x427)

IMG_6574 (640x427)

These Puffin crumbs also got incorporated!

IMG_6581 (640x427)

IMG_6569 (640x427)

IMG_6566 (640x427)

The vibe here is more relaxed – no one is rushing out to the ocean! Matt and i are going hunting for an umbrella after breakfast dishes are done.

And I still have 150 pages to read!!!

Have a great day guys 🙂

I must be the only person who doesn’t like PB Puffins? 🙂 Love the original flavor though.

Aww, so sad about the smoothies! Most people run off when I offer to make them a green monster. I actually coaxed my spinach-hating sister into trying one this past weekend and she loved it!

Smoothies sound great 😉 I always feel like that when I make anything “healthy”. The rest of my family is skeptical and they have “just a taste”, compliment it, then go back to their own stuff 🙁 Ah well, more for me? But not before it all goes bad! D:

Those do look beautiful! Though even after all this time I still struggle with smoothie as “food” instead of smoothie as “caloric and nutritious drink to consume while also eating copious amounts of solid food at the same time”… i am working on it!
