Stitch Fix Keeps

I haven’t done a Stitch Fix post in a while, but I’ve gotten some great fixes in the mean time! Here are some of my favorite keeps.

Foodblog-7916

This necklace, which I wear all the time! It’s so delicate and classic and goes with everything! For Stitch Fix peeps, it’s the Bridgette Hammered Circle Necklace.

Foodblog-7917

The Brentwood Tiered Striped Tank Top I’m wearing with it has been another favorite for the summer. My favorite kind of clothes are comfortable and casual with a little bit of style to jazz them up. This tank is the perfect example of that – I love the l layered fabric and crisscross design. It’s super comfy, great for hot days and goes with everything.

Foodblog-7911

This Cliff Graphic Print Roll-Tab Henley Knit Shirt came in the same box, and I love it as well. It also is super comfortable and casual but the print is fun and different. I also love the 3/4 sleeves that can roll up or down for spring, summer or fall.

Foodblog-7919

Zoom in on the print!

Foodblog-7923

This is the Filbert 3/4 Sleeve Popover Blouse, and I love it when I want to get a wee bit dressed up. I’ve worn it a few times to business meetings this summer with a skirt.

Foodblog-7924

This dress has been one of my favorite pieces ever! I am normally way too short for maxi dresses, and they often have low-cut necklines and spaghetti straps, making them not very practical for chasing around a toddler.

Foodblog-7929

This one is everything I would want in a long dress – stretchy, flowy, and full coverage up top. Also – perfect length for this 5’2” gal!

Foodblog-7936

I put in a request to Stitch Fix for a cross-body bag after I saw the one Meghann got. (Yes, you can make requests!) This purse has been fab – it’s the perfect size for running errands and date nights. It can fit my DSLR, wallet, and phone with room for more. It’s the Kacie Half Flap Crossbody Bag.

Foodblog-8726

I love the lining…

Foodblog-8731

When I took the Kamile Jersey Ruched Detail Dress out of the box, I was sad – it didn’t look like it would fit. But then I put it on and BAM – we had a keep. I love the ruching on the ribs and bust, and like the blue dress above, the neckline and straps are great for a bra-wearing woman like me  I’ve already worn it 3 times this summer!

Foodblog-8752

The Clarissa Lace & Crochet Detail Cotton Tank was something that was unlike anything else I had in my closet. I wouldn’t have picked it up off a rack, but I love it on, so it was a keep. Also goes with everything and perfect for summer!

Foodblog-9649

Recognize this from wine country?! It’s the Samira Colorblock Striped Dress. I love the gray and neutral and that I can cinch the waist to my size. (Don’t mind my hair – I had come from the pool!)

Foodblog-0042

This Downing Striped Knit Shirt, while quite casual, was a keep because I know it is something I’ll wear over and over and over again this fall! UVA colors too!

Foodblog-0019

A Few Returns That Were Almost Keeps…

There are some things that were not even worthy of a photo, but here are a few items I almost kept and didn’t:

This top, which was just a little too small. My stomach was revealed if I lifted my arms above my head. I loved the colors and shape though!!

Foodblog-9648

This shirt with a really cute bird pattern was just too droopy

Foodblog-8742

And this top that did nothing for my figure despite the fact that I loved the pattern.

Foodblog-8738

If you’ve tried Stitch Fix, what has been your favorite item to date?

All SO cute, Kath! I’ve been loving StitchFix since May and I learned about it here first! If you don’t mind me asking, how much was your bag? I’m in desperate need for a fall/winter purse and have some specific requests for one — but not sure what kind of price point they cover for bags?
    Thanks!

s/n: Do you feel the need to sweep your house daily because of the wood floors? I find that I need too but it’s because of the dogs. I love carpet, because of the feel on my feet, but don’t want it because of fleas. And when you do sweep what is the best thing you would recommend? Thanks

Love the items you kept! I had the worst luck with Stich Fix. After five “fixes”, I finally quit. They kept sending things that I would NEVER wear. The $20 fees were too much considering I returned the majority of the fixes without keeping anything.

I’ve never heard of Stich fix before your post, but I’m really curious. I would have loved all of those items you kept, can you request a stylist or do you get given one at random. I feel like i”m a style rut and this maybe the best way to fix it.
I love the necklace, I tried to google it but can’t find it, do you know where its from?
Also, one more question what about things that don’t fit right, is there a way to exchange items for different sizes?
    Thanks so much,

      Hi Meghan,
I think you are assigned a stylist, but none of them are bad! I think it’s just a matter of finding someone who gets you.

do you mean my teal and gold necklace? It’s from Girl’s Day Out on Etsy.

You can’t exchange items – if it doesn’t fit you don’t pay for it and send it back. But one time I loved something that just didn’t fit and got it in another size the next month!

So I think I got the exact same maxi dress and I am surprised because I am 5’6″ and literally had to have it taken up six inches!!! I was seriously baffled as to what sort of amazon woman it would fit! Even with heels it was insanely long. Now that I see yours I wonder if it comes in different lengths and they gave me the wrong one by accident or something. I loved it so much I kept it obviously and paid a tailor to have it hemmed.

I prefer delicate jewelry when it comes to necklaces. Have you ever heard of dogeared jewelry? You should check them out…love love love their stuff!
