A roundup of life lately with haircuts, meals, and llamas!
Look who got a pro haircut!
As much as he grumbled about going, he was a good sport and admitted afterwards he liked it : )
Cute masks for kids
And Birch will be stylin’ as well in these new outfits for spring! Thanks to Grammie for sponsoring them : )
Here’s a gallery of the pieces I got for Birch’s spring clothes. I couldn’t resist the excavator and dino themes!
Speaking of dinos….
I love that he calls them dinos instead of dinosaurs!
We’re finally enjoying restaurants outside again!
60 degrees in March feels warmer than 60 degrees in February did. And 60 degrees in April will probably feel even better. Why is that!? Humidity?
Nona babysat for a bit while T and I grabbed a drink downtown.
And we brought her ice cream cones to-go as a thank you!
Sittin’ on a Biscuit
We bought some biscuit mix from JM Stock to try to replicate their biscuits at home. While the flavor was great, we didn’t get the texture quite right (I think we overmixed!) but they sure were good!
Two days in a row…
Those were both weekend breakfasts. On weekdays we have smoothies! Crunchy granola on top.
Blue Apron Seared Tuna
We had this Blue Apron dinner two nights in a row. I think we also let this one cook one minute longer than we should have. Fresh tuna is so hard to get perfect at home! LOVED that tomatoey couscous though!
This Blue Apron chicken with a soy + black bean glaze was so good. Loved that sauce! We had this two nights this week.
Birch has never liked mac and cheese (what?!) until I prepared this llama mac. We played “find the llama” and look – he’s eating it!!!
I never met a mac and cheese I didn’t like….or a white wine!*
*Actually that’s not entirely true. Not a big fan of instant easy mac or super sweet syrupy whites. Or muscadine wine – blech!
