Sponge Bob Eats Goldfish

We had a FAB-ulous time at Nate’s Sponge Bob party, but gosh was it an eating disaster!

They had the whole house set up with Sponge Bob!

IMG_4737

Even on the TV –

IMG_4742

IMG_4741

These goldfish were the demise of my night….

IMG_4740

Friends had already gathered by the time I got there – complete with party hats 🙂

IMG_4743

And Gilbert was thirsty!!

IMG_4746

IMG_4747

IMG_4748

I started the evening with a Shock Top

IMG_4750

And nibbled on appetizers – cheese and Kashis, hummus, carrots, pita chips, goldfish. I did pretty well in the early part of the evening –

IMG_4751

And Kelsey’s pimento cheese arrived ….OMG!

IMG_4752

We had pizza for dinner – and I made the salad!! Arugula with feta, peppers and walnuts. I had half of two kinds of pizza – one tomato pie and one veggie.

IMG_4753

IMG_4754

Later on Kelsey gave Nate his birthday present! “Team Romance” shirts for him and Kate.

IMG_4762

And Gilbert on the back!

IMG_4768

IMG_4765

Cutest couple ever!!

IMG_4770

IMG_4772

I had a little of this delicious beer, but it was 7% alcohol and I didn’t think I should be sipping something so strong so I switched with Matt to a Shocktop instead since……

IMG_4773 IMG_4776

We played some drinking games!!! (Don’t worry, I only had a few sips 😉 ) But I was pretty good at flip cup!

IMG_4782

IMG_4789

Kelsey and I shared two different SB cupcakes!

IMG_4774

IMG_4775

With dessert –

IMG_4757

And Gilbert had lots of fun playing ‘scruff’ with Kelsey + Matt!

IMG_4808

We played more games, and ended the night snacking over all the appetizers. I ate waaaaaaaaaaaay too much. Esp. pimento cheese and kashi crackers!

IMG_4810

AND GOLDFISH!!!!!!!!!!!! Notice how empty the bucket is now?!!? I am stuffed!

IMG_4811

But not too stuffed to enjoy this nice chocolate that was in my Sponge Bob Goodie Bag!

IMG_4812

Not my healthiest night, but OH SO FUN!

Thanks Kate + Nate for the awesome party

this !

Nite!

How fun! Love the SB theme.

Last time my dad bought a pineapple at the grocery store, this little boy looked at him, wide-eyed, and said “What are you gonna do with Spongebob’s house??!?!”

Kath- you may have eaten more than normal, but overall what you ate wasn’t too bad nutritionally! You could have eaten a bucket of jelly beans and that would have been a different story! hahaha! What a great idea for a party! Kate is quite the Party planner!
