Sisterhood Of The Traveling Runs

Running with other people in big cities is so fun! One of the best parts of being a traveling blogger. Today we had a fun group meet at 7:30 for ~6 miles around Central Parks main route. I had no trouble waking up, but am going to sleep hard tonight for sure.

Caronae and I are running buddies! We think this is our third NYC run 🙂

IMAG0059

Jess, Tina + Roni (who I’ve also been on many runs with – Baltimore, Chicago!)

IMAG0058

We stopped several times for water – so nice to have fountains scattered throughout!

IMAG0060

We walked by this screen and suddenly we were on it!

IMAG0061

Jess and I BOOKED on the last mile and clocked in at around an 8:05 pace – I got a second wind!

My fuel was a banana – half before, half after.

And now we’re headed to a farewell brunch by SOYJOY 🙂

Might see you sooner or later – but will see you when I see you!

I love running with you when you’re here! None of my good friends run so it gets kinda lonely, lol. Love the pic of us on the screen, it’s so funny. I have one of you trying to move the little objects that’s cute.

Have fun at the brunch and see you next time you’re here!

I am SO GLAD you were talking about exercise here. Maybe it’s different in America, but in Australia, “the runs” refers to, erm, digestive-toilet issues, shall we say…
