Rocky Top

To Tennessee we go!

With too little sleep and a bag of Puffins!

In our rush to leave this morning, I filled two jars with the last of our yogurt, banana and sunflower butter. We added Cville Cluster and Puffins on the road.

Wish I had a hot beverage to go with.

7 hours in the car today… Listening to Bossypants on audiobook! I’ve laughed out loud at least once a chapter. Love Tina Fey!

Happy weekend.

I already miss the house!

I adore Tina Fey as well. Have to say thanks for introducing me to Sunflower butter. I hesitated forever trying it as I couldn’t imagine it being as good as almond butter. At first I wasn’t sure what I thought and then halfway through the jar I was addicted. It’s different & sticky & delicious!

Have a safe trip! Hopefully you will find a good truck stop along the way for a hot beverage. I think there are Flying J’s on your trip. They have pretty good coffee!

Just got Bossypants for my birthday and I cannot WAIT to dive in. And, on a side note, I’ve been sampling every pumpkin beer I find : Bluemoon, Harpoon UFO, Cambridge Brewing Company, Smuttynose and finally… PUMPKING. Pumpking is my favorite with Harpoon as a close #2. And pumpkin coffee… pumpkin oats… Loving fall.

My roommate and I used to love toting jars around to class, mostly green monsters! There’s just something right about eating out of a jar! It seems kind of antiquated.
