Pottery Barn

IMG_9041Blog

You know how streusel and crumble is the best part of any pie, crisp or muffin? This morning I deconstructed an Apple Streusel Tea Cake (= maximum surface area of streusel) that I picked up from our Saturday leftovers yesterday. Crunchy, buttery streusel topping was SO delicious on top of pumpkin yogurt and banana! Served with a dollop of peanut butter.

What substance is more appealing than butter crunch? FOAM! Made a Vanilla Mint Tea Latte with my new IKEA frother. I’m sure I’ll get tired of doing it with time, but so fun for now! I heated 1/4 cup milk in a glass in the microwave for 26 seconds and then frothed away. 30 seconds later..

IMG_9045Blog

My left foot (surgery foot) is quite stiff this morning, as is my right hip. Already feel much looser after being up and about though. I’m surprised I’m not MORE sore after 9 miles, half of them straight uphill!

Have a fab Monday!

You should open up your own breakfast cafe with your KERF oats varieties (of course) and your numerous other yummy eats. And you should serve them all in beautiful dishes with pretty silverware. I know I’d be there all the time! 🙂

I have a milk frother but I only used it a few times… totally forgot about it, thanks for the reminder! I’ve been loving hot chocolate lately and I think a little froth would bring it to the next level. Have a great day!
